𝟮.𝟰, 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 & 𝗟𝗼𝗶𝘀: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱
"𝗢𝗸𝗮𝘆, 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝘂𝗽𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀?"

Kate was sitting at the table with her brothers and father as they were talking to Clark about the visions he's been getting. Lois was in the other room watching the podcast in worry about her sister and how the public might react to whatever they say or suggest on it, Kate wanted to check up on her but Clark told them that it would be best if they had left her be for a bit.

"How long are you gonna be seeing what he's seeing?" Jordan asked with concern

"I don't know, but I'm guessing as long as this guy who looks like me is still here, these visions will be too," Clark responded to his son

"He means, is there some kind of pattern or trigger?" Kate asked in support

"Still trying to figure that out and who or what this guy is," Clark admitted with a sigh

"She's been listening to that podcast all morning," Jordan explained looking at the office doors

"Don't use your super-hearing on your mother, okay? Trust me but, I mean, since you did, what'd it say?" Clark asked looking at them

"Aunt Lucy was on it," Jon spoke making him nod

"Why don't you guys grab your stuff?" Clark questioned the kids

"I'll grab our lunch bags," Kate spoke before walking to the kitchen

"Me and Jordan are swapping Apples and bananas so hold up," Jon stated before they walked upstairs

"If they are swapping then I get an extra brownie," Kate mumbled among herself

Lois had dropped them off at school before heading off to work, Kate was cleaning up the scarp paper in her locker when Marcus came and kissed her cheek. Kate let out a small laugh before pushing him off lightly, Marcus chuckled before moving beside her so he could look at her while talking.

"Okay, Donuts or Cupcakes?" Marcus asked making her look at him

"For your party?" Kate questioned her boyfriend

"Yeah, it's either donuts or cupcakes and we're torn between the two," Marcus explained in a soft tone

"Well, I prefer donuts but you guys could split it up 50/50 with donuts and cupcakes so everyone gets a choice," Kate suggested to him

"I knew I loved you for a reason," Marcus joked before kissing her cheek again

"Wow, such a charmer," Kate remarked with an eye roll

"Charmed you enough for you to go out with me," Marcus remarked with a look

"You are a grown child," Kate scolded the boy

"And you are such a mother," Marcus spoke in response

"But you love me," Kate reminded while narrowing her eyes

"I do love you," Marcus agreed with the blonde

The bell rang making her moan out in sadness before he chuckled then kissed her cheek before heading off to his class. Kate, Jon, and Natalie were walking on the gravel road of the farm talking and joking around.

"You looked really good out there," Natalie spoke looking at Jon

"Yeah?" Jon questioned with a smile

"Way better than on Madden," Kate commented in support

"I still want a rematch, by the way," Jon stated pointing to Nat

"Okay, okay, always happy to pad my stats," Natalie mocked the boy

"Are you okay?" Kate asked her older brother

"What are you doing?" Natalie questioned as Jon jerked away

"Thought that bird was gonna hit me," Jon responded once he came too

"That bird way over there? Here's something I've never asked you before, do you smoke a lot of weed?" Natalie questioned making Kate laugh

"What? Honestly, you know what? I think it's probably this new medication I've been taking," Jon covered with a nod

"Do side effects include being a dusted-out weirdo?" Natalie asked in response

"Look, a little friendly advice, maybe stop taking those meds," Kate stated before they walked away

Kate walked up to her bedroom so she could do homework and read before dinner before going to plan out her dress for the party tomorrow, they had decided to host the party in the barn after they had cleared it out for the day.
