Sarah, Nat, and Kate had all made plans to hang out together after school but the boy had ended up joining them. Nat was basically on lockdown with her dad since he didn't want her seeing or even talking to Matteo anymore.

"I mean, everything in the restaurant was so chaotic, we didn't even get to talk," Natalie explained with a sigh

"I mean, he had to have known about his parents, right?" Sarah asked in confusion

"It didn't feel like that, he seemed surprised," Natalie added in support

"Or he could be a good actor, as someone who has to keep a secret you get better at it over time," Jordan suggested to the girl

"Yeah, you're awesome at it," Jon remarked to his twin

"I keep thinking about just taking my suit and flying to Metropolis," Natalie admitted with a soft tone

"That's a terrible idea," Kate advice to her

"She's right and maybe you should just forget about him," Jon stated looking at her

"Why would you say that? Matteo's nothing like his parents," Nat asked in a hurt voice

"Yeah, but his parents are crazy dangerous. Look, I know it sucks but maybe it's just not meant to be," Jon added in support

"Right, but you and Candace are?" Nat questioned once again

"It's not the same thing," Jon remarked to the girls

"Yeah, her dad's a drug dealer who stole your truck and punched you in the face," Kate scolded her brother

"Seems like pretty much the perfect analog, but, yeah, thanks for not seeing my side of things," Natalie remarked to the boy

"Okay, that's not what I meant," Jon defended himself

"Great, my dad's here and I have to go back into lockdown," Nat remarked as she stood up

"I don't know what your problem is but you need to chill," Kate scolded her brother

"Yeah, that was brutal," Marcus agreed with his girlfriend

Jon sighed before going on to finish eating, Kate and Jordan shared a look before she went up to get a refill on her drink. Once, everyone was done eating they all headed back to Sarah's house with Natalie under John Henry's orders.

"Look how upset she is," Jon commented watching Nat

"Wouldn't you be if you couldn't be with the person you loved?" Sarah questioned as Jordan nodded

"Yeah, I mean, it's torture," Jordan agreed with a sigh

"We should have been more supportive of her and Matteo," Sarah suggested in a soft tone

"He does seem like a solid guy," Marcus added in support

"I'll go talk to her," Kate spoke before Jon stopped her

"No, this one's on me," Jon stated as he walked away

"Nice job, Jon," Marcus spoke as Jon was coming back a few minutes later

"I just felt like such a hypocrite," Jon admitted as he stood next to them

"You weren't the only one who said something stupid lately, I'm sorry about after the fire and it's cool what you're doing with Mr. Cushing," Jordan spoke looking at his twin

"Do you hear that?" Sarah remarked as Kate nodded

"It's the sound of ice thawing?" Kate suggested to her brothers

"Maybe you two should hug it out so we can all be friends again?" Marcus suggested to the boys

"I'm good," Jon stated with a chuckle

"I think we're okay," Jordan mumbled looking at his twin

"Hug it out," Marcus directed the boys

"Ah, beautiful brothers, we're just going to sneak in here real quick, yeah, yeah," Kate mumbled as they all hugged

Nat had gone to talk to Matteo behind her dad's back because she wanted answers and to get peace of mind. Kate had just decided to call it a night since she was tired and worried about everything that was happening that day.
