The following day he kept himself home. His bed didn't feel as welcoming as it normally would. Even looking at it gave him flashbacks.

So he slept on his beanbag, and he was still laying there. Bongcha had came and checked up on him. Now she was already on her way to school.

He hadn't heard from mom. not that he had expected her to check up on him, but it's still a mother right? Well she was at work right now and she would be gone till in the evening. Which meant he and his sister gotta eat together.

He took his phone for the first time in pretty long. He saw some messages. There were a lot from a group called lost children.

The first message came from Felix. Of course, he normally walked to school with them.

is he ill?

how would i know i'm asking him where he is

The chat under these were filled with hyunjin and felix telling each other why or why not they could know if he was ill.

Seungmin decided that he could better just answer,

i'm okay, just catched a fever

This might have been the first time he had even chatted in this group chat. Why did he lie again, Chungho did tell him the truth, he is a liar.

But having a fever means you are feeling hurt and well the hot bath from yesterday definitely hurted him more than he had expected. So maybe he wasnt lying then? Seungmin seems to know better.

Why did he read all of it? He could have just tapped it open and not read it. Why does this guy hold on to him for so long? If he is so dumb or unfunny like Chungho says, why doesn't Chungho just dump him into the ocean or kill him in any other way.
