Y/n's Pov

Today was like any normal day. I would attend my classes, Eat lunch and by the end of the day I would sneak into the library with my boyfriend Mattheo and spend some time with him. We have been secretly dating for almost a year, we mutually agreed that it would be better off this way. But man are our reasons so diffrent.

Being plus size in a school full of beautiful girls in my year i stick out like a sore thumb. But for some reason Mattheo still wanted to be with me. But for him he was scared if his brother found out he'd hurt me or put me in danger.

I was sitting in the library when Mattheo showed up an hour late. I was doing my Potions homework when he sat next to me. "Sorry I'm late, Tom wouldn't stop asking questions." Mattheo said as he sighed. I smiled and looked at him. "It's no problem really." I said placing a kiss on his cheek.

"It sucked not being around you today. You look beautiful." He smiled. "I don't look beautiful everyday?" I Joked as I let out a fake gasp. "You know what I mean." Mattheo said chuckling. I smiled and looked back down at my book that I was reading.

We sat in a comfortable silence for a couple minutes until his brother walked towards us. "I thought you said you had to study?" Tom questioned his brother. "I am studying." Mattheo replied as I looked at the two. "With her?" Tom rudely replied. "If you're gonna talk about me infront of me I'd just talk to me directly." I said speaking up.

Both of them looked shocked. "Excuse me what did you say?" Tom said pulling out his wand. "You heard me. You're mad over nothing." I said standing up. "I don't like you." Tom said gripping his wand. "Good I don't want you to." I smirked walking away from the two leaving them alone.

Mattheos Pov

I looked at my brother furiously. "Seriously? You had to do that?" I questioned my brother. "If anyone should be upset it's me. You're the one studying with her." Tom said crossing his arms. "Yeah because she's my girlfriend." I said in a hushed tone. My brother raised his eyebrow and chuckled like what I just said was a joke.

"Out of everyone at Hogwarts you chose her?"He laughed shaking his head. "Yeah I did, and if I hear that you mention it to anyone or give her shit for it I'm not gonna be happy. Whatever you have planned I also want her left alone." I explained. "You expect me to listen to you?" He smirked.

"If you do anything to Y/n I'll make sure you regret it." I said walking away from my brother. "It's me or her than." Tom said coldly. "You're precious girlfriend or your family." He added. I stopped walking and looked at him. "You expect me to choose?" I questioned.

Tom nodded leaving me standing there for a moment. "Than I choose her?" I frowned. Tom looked taken back about my answer. "Why wouldn't you choose family?" He questioned. "Because in the entire time Y/n's and I have been together never once has she made me choose between you and her." I shrugged and walked out of the library.

Y/n's Pov

It'd been a week since I had last seen Mattheo. It'd been hard to make plans when Tom has been glaring at me whenever he sees me. Which means he knows about me or Mattheo or he's really angry about the way I talked to him. But I don't plan on finding out anytime soon.

It was lunch and I was sitting alone when Mattheo boldly say next to me. I curiously looked at him and all he did was smile at me. "Why are you sitting here?" I questioned. "Tom knows." He shrugged as he grabbed a plate and started filling it up with food.

"That doesn't explain why you're sitting here." I said rolling my eyes. "So maybe I don't wanna keep us a secret anymore." He said as looked at me. "Look not that I care that your brother knows but I don't want people to judge you for being with me." I frowned.

Mattheo smiled a little. "I don't care what others think Y/n. You're my girlfriend not them. So are we keeping us a secret or no?" He asked hopefully. I thought for a moment before shaking my head a bit. "Well I guess if you're brother knows there's no point in hiding it anymore." I smiled at him.

"Than I think after a year of us being together I take you out on a proper date. No worrying about being caught and not worring about my brother. That's if you wanna go on a date." He said looking at me. "As long as it's we go to honeydooks." I smiled back at him.
