I can't believe I fell for this stupid trap. I'm way too gullible. It's embarrassing. I was currently sitting in the living room of Brennen's house with Norah and it was silent. Just me and her. The rest of our friends ditched us with no escape and Brennen was nowhere to be seen. I know that they were trying to get us to talk but I didn't know where to begin. I was a shitty friend and I hated myself for it. I didn't even let myself be happy with Brennen because I couldn't hurt Norah but if she still can't forgive me after that, I don't know what will.

The front door opens and I watch Brennen and all the guys walk in with smiles on their faces. I frown as I look at all their outfits, suits. They were wearing fucking suits like they were buisness men.

"What is going on?" I ask them as they stand in a line in front of the TV.

"We're staging an intervention." Garrett answers.

The front door opens again and I watch Lily and Taylor walk in with cases of alcohol. Now I was even more confused.

They look at their friends and frown, "Why are you guys wearing that?" Lily asks.

"Because we have to be professional." Jake answers.

"For what?" Taylor asks.

"The intervention." Chris points out.

Lily and Taylor look at each other before shaking their heads, "Idiots." They both mutter in sync as they place the alcohol on the coffee table.

"Can I leave?" Norah asks.

"No." Everyone in the room except me says.

Norah sighs as she sulks back into the couch. Lily and Taylor stand off to the side of the room, watching the guys.

"Okay, first, Norah you will start by stating your opinion, and how you feel." Garrett smiles at her.

"Shouldn't Brennen be sitting on the couch too?" Taylor asks.

"Uh, no. He's respecting the girl's space." Chris says.

Brennen nods in agreement before Norah speaks, "Space? You mean the space he respected when he jumped into bed with my best friend?"

I look at her in disbelief just as Jake chimes in, "Okay, rule one, no rude comments."

Norah rolls her eyes, "Norah, that's strike one." Garrett tells her.

I couldn't help but smile at him before my eyes met Brennen's, the second he looked at me, I quickly looked away. I thought I'd never see him again but here I was.

"Okay, Norah, talk." Jake tells her.

"About what?"
"Brennen and Jules. This is a safe place." Chris smiles.

"Hmmm, let me think, they're both lying assholes." She smiles.

"Okay, so that's a rude comment." Garrett tells her.

"Oh my god!" Norah groans.

"Do we really need to be doing all this?" I ask them.

"Yes, Jules. It's the only way." Jake answers.

I sigh, "Fine. I'm next." I look at Norah, "I'm sorry. I didn't want to lie to you but I was scared of how you'd react. I really thought Brennen and I weren't gonna be anything serious but I was wrong. I should've told you the second it started, but I didn't. And I'm sorry." I explain to her.

She stares at me, "Why didn't you just tell me?"

"Because I was embarrassed that I still loved him. He was my first love, Norah. I can't just forget about him. Yeah, it was easier to let go of him when I wasn't living under the same roof as him. But I couldn't help it." I tell her.
