Stepping out of the tent, Peter was already present, while the Pevensie girls perched on a tree, distanced from the slyly approaching wolves.

Once more, Peter wielded his sword at the wolves, echoing the earlier incident by the river.

Approaching the scene, Aslan swiftly immobilized one of the wolves, flanked by centaurs and fauns prepared for combat. Just as I was about to draw my sword, Aslan intervened, halting both the approaching allies and me.

"No! Hold your weapons," he ordered. "This is Peter's battle."

The tension rose as the wolf threatened, "You may think you're a King, but you're going to die... Like a dog!" With a collective scream, we reacted as the wolf lunged toward the blond Pevensie. The two girls swiftly descended from the tree, joining me in rushing to their brother.

Together, we pushed the wolf away from Peter, relieved to find him still breathing, albeit shaken. The sisters enveloped him in a tight hug while I stood back.

Aslan's command redirected our focus. "After him," he directed, releasing a lone fleeing wolf. "He'll lead you to Edmund."

I hesitated briefly, contemplating my next move. I glanced at the Pevensie siblings, then turned to Aslan.

"I'm sorry," I murmured, before grasping onto Oreius, who phased through me, allowing me to settle on his back. Despite the calls of the Pevensie siblings, I ignored them, resolutely moving forward without looking back.

I need to know the truth.

"What do you think you're doing?" Oreius exclaimed, glancing back at me but continuing our journey without waiting for a response.

I remained silent, my gaze fixed ahead while holding onto him tightly.

Our journey to the White Witch's camp didn't take too long. Upon arrival, I immediately spotted the brunette Pevensie. I swiftly dismounted Oreius, who pointed his sword at the dwarf, causing the latter to freeze in place.

The boy looked at me, visibly startled.

"Hello there, Edmund," I grinned, removing the cloth from his mouth and swiftly cutting the ropes binding him.

"What are you doing here?" he asked, still in disbelief.

"Saving you, obviously," I replied, helping him to his feet. Oreius then secured the dwarf in the spot Edmund had occupied, tying him up before gagging him.

"Hurry, quickly!" I urged, prompting Edmund to mount Oreius first. As I attempted to follow, a sudden rope snaked around my feet, sending me crashing to the ground with a groan.

"Cora!" Edmund exclaimed, ready to dismount Oreius, but I stopped him.

"No, don't!" I yelled. "Oreius, go now!"
