I suddenly gasped as I emerged from the fountain waters, glancing around while shivering from the cold wind slicing through my damp skin.

Turning toward the two children before me, their faces filled with shock after accidentally kicking the ball toward me, they approached the fountain.

"I'm sorry, miss," the little boy quickly apologized, while the other watched me, clearly sorry for what happened.

"It's all right," I reassured them, offering a reassuring smile as I rose from the fountain's floor.

I wasn't upset or annoyed with them; in fact, I felt grateful. They inadvertently played a role in my return to Narnia, even though I knew that would be my final visit to the magical land.

As I departed from the park, I paid no heed to the curious gazes of the elderly woman and the affectionate couple.

With my arms wrapped around myself, a bid for warmth in the chilly air, I ventured homeward, weaving through the familiar pathways towards my abode.

As I walked through the town, the local chatter and laughter filled the air, mingling with the sounds of street vendors calling out their goods.

The smell of freshly baked bread wafted from the nearby bakery, while the faint aroma of coffee lingered around the corner café. People strolled leisurely, chatting with neighbors and friends, creating a cozy and intimate ambiance.

Despite the lively surroundings, my mind wandered elsewhere. The calm and simplicity of this town stood in stark contrast to the enchanting adventures and magical encounters I had experienced in Narnia.

Memories of the fantastical realm danced in my thoughts, creating a nostalgic yearning that tugged at my heart.

As I ambled through the charming streets, occasionally exchanging polite smiles with locals and returning their greetings, I found myself lost in a sea of emotions.

The solemnity of my return mingled with the wistful memories of the friends I had made and the breathtaking sights I had beheld in the faraway land of Narnia.

As I gingerly opened the front door of my residence, I stepped into the warmth of the familiar surroundings. With a quiet creak, the door closed behind me, enveloping me in the hushed ambiance of my home.

I navigated the entrance area, my footsteps soft against the polished floor, and seamlessly ascended the staircase.

Just as I reached the stairs, a silhouette materialized in the doorway of the kitchen. It was my mother, her presence unexpected. Her gaze fell upon my slightly dampened figure, and with a note of concern, she asked.

"What in the world happened to you?" Her voice held a mix of concern and curiosity as her eyes scanned my slightly dampened appearance.

"I, uh..." I stumbled over my words, recalling that I hadn't yet revealed my adventures in Narnia, a place she, too, shared a connection with, being half-Narnian herself.
