And just like that, this story has finally come to an end. Writing this book has been an emotional journey for me, one filled with laughter, tears, heartache, and hope.
These characters have lived in my mind and heart for so long that saying goodbye to them feels almost impossible.
This world, inspired by Narnia, has always held a special place in my heart. Writing about love, family, sacrifice, and the bittersweet beauty of farewells has been both a challenge and a gift.
Every chapter I wrote carried a piece of me, and now that it’s done, I feel both fulfilled and a little lost, as though I’ve said goodbye to dear friends I may never meet again.
To every reader who walked this path with me, thank you. Thank you for feeling what I felt, for holding these characters close, and for giving life to this story simply by reading it. I hope, in some way, it touched your heart as much as it touched mine.
There were days when I doubted myself, nights when I wondered if I could ever finish it, but here we are at the very end. To finally place the last words on this story feels surreal, almost bittersweet, because these characters have become like family to me.
So to everyone who’s been with me, whether you started reading from the very first chapter or joined halfway through, thank you. Your patience, encouragement, and love have kept me going more than you’ll ever know.
Even during the days I was inactive, you all continued to support me, and I am so deeply grateful for that.
Narnia has been my favorite and my comfort movie since I was a child, and now as a young adult, it is still my favorite. I know it will always have a place in my heart, as it feels more like home to me than the real world ever has.
For that, I am truly thankful to C.S. Lewis for creating such a masterpiece of fantasy, characters, and stories.
That’s why I decided to start this fanfic in 2023 and publish it in 2024—to heal my inner child who once desperately wished to go to Narnia—by writing down all my imagination in this story. Now, looking back, I can’t believe how far this journey has taken me.
What began as a simple idea grew into a world that consumed my heart and imagination.
But the journey doesn’t end here, my dear readers. My love for Narnia and Edmund Pevensie is beyond this universe, and there’s a big possibility that I’ll create a new fic with different plotlines and characters.
Of course, some of the original characters and a few familiar plotlines will still remain.
So, I’ll see you in the next Edmund fic, my lovely readers!
Oh, and one more thing—I’ll also be editing the English and grammar in this book, even the aesthetics since I’ve grown less fond of how it is now and want to make it even better for you all.
And with this, my dear readers, we’ve truly reached the very last page of this journey. My heart is overflowing with gratitude, for the story, for the characters, and most of all, for you who stayed until the end.
This book was more than just a fanfic to me—it was a safe place, a love letter to Narnia, and a part of myself I poured into every chapter.
Saying goodbye feels bittersweet, but I know that endings only make way for new beginnings.
Thank you for laughing with me, crying with me, and dreaming with me. Thank you for giving your time and your heart to these words. I’ll carry this experience with me always, just as I hope you’ll carry a little piece of this story with you.
So here it is… the final goodbye for now. Until we meet again in another story, another adventure, another world—thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
With all my love,
Nelly <3
