Everyone around us began to cheer and Edmund Amidst the jubilant cheers filling the air, Edmund, without hesitation, rushed forward, enveloping me in a tight embrace.

"Did they hurt you, love?" he inquired, pulling back slightly to search my face for any signs of injury.

"Nope, I took care of that before they even had the chance," I replied nonchalantly, shrugging my shoulders. A chuckle escaped Edmund's lips at my response, the tension of the moment finally giving way to a sense of relief and shared laughter.

"Come along," he uttered softly, guiding me by placing my hands behind my back as we strolled amidst the bustling throng, flanked by Caspian, Drinian, and his sister, all amid the vibrant atmosphere.

"Your Majesty! Your Majesty!" A familiar voice hailed us from the rear, abruptly halting our steps and prompting us to pivot in unison.

Drinian swiftly intercepted the approaching man, restraining him from advancing further, while Caspian swiftly drew his sword in vigilance. Edmund promptly positioned himself in front of me, mirroring Caspian's defensive stance, shielding me from any potential threat.

"My wife was taken just this morning," he spoke with urgency, a trace of desperation in his voice, as a little girl, his daughter, darted behind him.

Caspian hesitated in his defensive stance, issuing a command to Drinian to release the man. Stepping forward, he positioned himself in front of Caspian, while Edmund maintained his protective vigilance.

"I beg you, take me with you," the man implored, his daughter echoing the sentiment, pleading to join.

"No, Gael, stay with your aunt," her father firmly directed, leaving his daughter under the care of the woman.

"I am a fine sailor, been on the seas my whole life," the man asserted convincingly, swaying Caspian's decision. Caspian agreed, offering a reassuring pat on his shoulder before we resumed our walk.

"My king!" exclaimed the man, a stranger to me, as he approached, wielding a sword.

"This was given to me by your father. I hid it safely in a cave all these years," he revealed solemnly.

"That's an old Narnian sword," Edmund observed, scrutinizing the sword closely.

"It's from your Golden Age," he disclosed, eliciting a surprised lift of my brows.

"The Golden Age, you say?" I inquired, memories of that era flooding back, to which the man confirmed with a nod.

"Yes. There exist seven such swords, gifts from Aslan to protect Narnia," he paused, casting a meaningful glance towards Caspian. "Your father entrusted them to us."
