Part 49. Knowing things - I

"Where did Virat go? It doesn't take this long at the doctors, does it?", Rohit asked KL who was sitting beside him. Shreyas and Jassi were unpacking their stuff in another room.

"I don't know, his phone is unreachable", KL answered trying it as Rohit was asking the nth time.

"Don't you worry, he is gonna come back in sometime", KL said assuring him thought he was worried too but he could not show Rohit at that time.

"K, why don't you talk normally like with the team to be specific?", Rohit asked badly wanting to know and divert his mind too from worrying about Virat.

KL wanted to avoid the topic but he knew it was high time he gets it out as from one month Rohit is trying to talk to him and ask him things.

"You know when you weren't there, Virat tried a lot to keep himself together and most importantly the whole team", KL began telling him.

Rohit could feel the emotion and he could imagine how it would be when he was not there specially for Virat.

"I don't know one day out of nowhere he changed, he was like a zombie, didn't talk to anyone nor responded to anyone", KL said.

Rohit remembered how Virat told him about the incident where he followed Ryan and got to know everything, that changed him.

"As he was too quiet and on top of that he stopped playing with the team, it started to create misunderstandings between the senior lot", KL explained how things went ahead.

"No one asked him what happened?", Rohit enquired.

KL sighed, "they tried many times but not hard enough, virat didn't respond which made it worse", he said.

"How did you get through him then?", Rohit asked.

"He was really out of it that day, took some sleeping pills and alcohol too. He got a severe panic attack due to that and whatever he was dealing with. I had hard time to calm him down. I literally had to slap him once", KL said and a lone tear fell from his eye.

Rohit kept his hand on his in support.

Jaddu made Virat lay on sofa and Ash called the doctor, they were shocked and numb to see Virat unconscious.

"Virat?", Ash patted his cheeks but there was no response.

The doctor arrived and checked on him.

"His BP is high that's why he fainted", Doctor informed, "if there is any medical condition prior I need to know that to provide him medication accordingly", he asked.

"We will get that info and inform you then you can give the medications" Ash said remembering KL knew something.

"Okay, he will gain consciousness in an hour or so", Doctor said and left the room.

"What must have happened for Virat to panic like this and most importantly come here to us?" Jaddu asked seeing at Virat who looked so pale.

"He looked really disturbed, something is wrong", said Ash thinking about it.

In an hour, Jaddu felt Virat stirring in sleep. They didn't leave his side, he had come to them and now they didn't want to loose him again.

"Veer?", Jaddu called softly as Virat was trying to wake up.

Virat rubbed his eyes and got up, he sat with support of the bedrest.

"How do you feel now?", Ash asked passing him water.

Virat took a sip, "better than before I guess, how long was I out?", he asked.

"1-2 hours", said Jaddu informing him.

"Oh no, it's lunch time and I have to pick new medications for Rohit", Virat said getting up quickly.

Jaddu and Ash looked at him in question, "you guys are coming there, right?" he asked and they nodded at that.

"We will talk there, I cannot get late for his medications, I am sorry", Virat said getting to the door.

He turned, "thank you for not pushing me away", Virat said and they gave him a smile.

That smile meant so much to Virat, he acknowledged and left from there.

"he is still an idiot" Jaddu said as he saw Virat leave.

"Do u expect anything else?", Ash asked getting back to packing.

Jaddu chuckled, "no, I dont", he said.
