Part 69. Revelations Unveiled - I

Rohit held his hand, "Vi, are you really sure? Nothing comes above your health for us-- be it anything", he asked as he was worried about his panic attacks, he had seen how horrible it could be. 

"Yes I am, I just want this to end", said Virat not meeting their eyes. He just felt he has lost all the rights to do that. 

Maya was observing about his body language how he had held Rohit's hand tightly and the words he was using. 

"Umm so-- I never stopped searching for Ro, you guys may think that was the case because I disappeared for long time and then came back, didn't participate in convos but that was due to something else", began Virat in low voice not looking at anyone. 

That was the second thing Maya noticed, Virat was not looking at anyone except Rohit which was also for some secs and he immediately would look down. 

Jaddu was most affected by that statement because he was the one who accused Virat of giving up on Rohit and now he got to know he was just assuming things. Ash kept a hand on his shoulders knowing what was going on in his mind. 

"Ryan started to behave weirdly whenever Rohit's name came up and he did not accompany me anymore for finding Rohit. Then one day he did not pick the phone when I had got a big lead of Rohit being in the outskirts of the city", Virat said and noticed his breathing getting uneven. 

KL was there immediately rubbing his back and making him drink some water. 

"I went to see the place myself but when I got there-- I-- I saw Ryan--"

Rohit held Virat's hand again to tell him that he was here, by his side, "I am here Vi, its the past", he said gently.

"Ryan was covered in blood, he was yelling at his men that how could they let Rohit go. After all the months of torturing Rohit, they let him go. And he shot that person in front of my eyes-- That day changed me and everything around me", Virat said as that horrifying incident was fresh in his mind. 

Everyone in the room was shocked that Virat witnessed that, no one can even imagine what he must have felt at that time. 

"Ryan noticed me and he was behind me, I ran from there somehow-- I stayed low for somedays, in forest hut when he was running behind me, in some local village nearby and many more places. After a month, I went back home", said Virat having another sip of water. 

Virat rested his head on the headboard feeling tired due to the pain and all those memories rushing back to him. KL sat there beside him on the other side holding his hand. Virat closed his eyes as KL was there with him. 

"Rohit, what happened at the time and who let you go?", Ash asked as they could not understand how was Rohit kidnapped and then ran away. 

Rohit didn't know how to say it loud about all this as he never did, not to himself or not to anyone. 

"I-- um-- Ryan got suspicious about me protecting Vi all the time, like being with him all the time at the tours and team hotel", Rohit said and everyone remembered how he was paranoid all the time and worried about Virat. 

Flashback: 

"Where are you going?", Rohit asked Virat who was ready to go somewhere, "I am going to an event", Virat answered back.

"I will come with you", said Rohit immediately. 

Virat raised his eyebrows in question, "And why is that? Did you also invest in rage coffee?", he asked curiously. 

"What even- I did not, I am just bored. Do you have any problem if I am accompanying you?"

"Ro, it is not that but don't you think it would be suspicious, us going together? And why u want to go for an event with me? Our brand endorsements are different", said Virat not knowing what is going on in his head. 

"If not me, take someone else please Vi", Rohit said not able to control his emotions, feeling paranoid. 

Virat turned to him and saw Rohit worried, it was the first time he was seeing him like this, "what is going on?", he asked. 

Before Rohit could say something, Virat got a call from his manager and he left from there. Rohit just paced in the room whole time worrying for him. 

It's been 5 hours, Virat did not come back. Rohit already had checked everyone's room-- he was panicking fearing the worst. 

"Rohit calm down he may be stuck somewhere", Ash said not knowing why was he so worked up.

Rohit just kept calling Virat but the phone was not reachable. He froze when the door opened and he noticed Virat injured. 

Rohit and other seniors rushed to Virat who was limping, they helped him to sit on the bed. Jaddu called the team doctor while Ash ordered dinner. 

Rohit cleaned his face, hands and ankle with wet towel. Rohit wanted to ask thousand questions about everything but seeing him in pain he held himself back. 

Doctor bandaged his ankle and forehead, "Not too much to worry about minor injuries, just make sure he rests and takes medications on time", he informed and left from there. 

"What happened?", Bhuvi asked before the dinner arrives. 

"Not exactly sure but I remember some bike trying to overtake my car, rash driver-- was not letting me move forward. Then out of nowhere he crashed into my car speeding towards me, I lost control and collided with the divider", explained Virat. 

"You should have called us, you drove in this condition and where the fuck is your phone?", Rohit snapped. 

"Phone is in the car only, I could drive-- just minor injuries so, didn't want to make it a big deal", said Virat only for Rohit to storm off in the balcony to which Virat got confused. 

Others explained how worried Rohit was, they left from there so that Virat could talk to him what was bothering him. 

The room service arrived and Rohit came back in the room not wanting Virat to walk and make the injury worse. 

"Ro, I am sorry-- should not have said it like that", said Virat tiredly. 

Rohit immediately melted at that sorry and his tired face, he sat infront of him and fed him dinner. 

"Will you tell me what is going on with you?", asked Virat but Rohit did not share anything as he was not sure yet. 

"We will talk later Vi, rest-- you need the sleep, I will get your phone back from the car", Rohit said and covered him with the comforter as he had the medications. He sat with him till he sleeps and then got the phone from his car. 

He charged and checked Ryan calling him continuously which can also be the reason of the accident. 

Flashback End. 

"Yes, we remember how you were panicking and paranoid about Virat", Ash said as he recalled that incident. 

Rohit nodded, he had some water to calm himself-- as recalling everything was making him go through all the emotions again. 

Virat kept his hand on his assuring him that he was here with him.
