Cal is one of my favorites, and I really had fun writing (typing) this story.
And what happened to the characters is likely to happen in real life, so let's bear in mind that most of the time, we outgrew people, and that's really okay. Some people are seasonal; there are people who came into our lives to teach us a lesson. Our contract with them ended, and let's have peace with that. After all, "our" people will stay and will always find their way back to us.
