Sam decided to host a Christmas party to bring the former Cobras closer to the Miyagi-Dos. It was Miguel's idea to invite them into the dojo since Cobra Kai was growing stronger. Miyagi-Do needed the numbers and anyone they could get, as far as Sam was concerned. Frankie wasn't so sure numbers were the way to go, but she wasn't about to argue with Sam about her dad's dojo. If they felt they needed more people, so be it. Without Frankie and Robby involved, that might be the smart move. Besides, Frankie found her life less stressful without karate.

The only problem with the party was that it was dead before it even got started.

"You guys said this was gonna be a party," Mitch said, giving Sam and Miguel a pointed look. "There's isn't even beer." He rolled his eyes and instead turned his attention to Chris, who sat across the room from him. They had yet to mend their broken friendship...

In fact, the former Cobras were hostel toward any Miyagi-Do that had defected from Cobra Kai. It was going to take a lot of convincing to get them to join, not because they were going to be asked to join the dojo but because of who was in the dojo already. That's why it was a party or was supposed to be.

Everyone was sitting around, waiting for something to happen. The only problem was that there were barely enough people there to call it a party and all Sam had done to make it feel more party-like was put on some Christmas music. All Frankie could do was roll her eyes.

"There's a keg on the way," Sam assured, turning to Miguel. She gave him a look that said help but he looked as clueless as she did. They were fumbling the ball.

Demetri groaned. "Well, can we at least put on a movie? I'd even watch the one with the creepy elf dentist." He got a few looks. "Yeah, I'm that bored."

Frankie leaned into his side and he put his arm around her, a little happier to cuddle her. She smirked at him, though, before she said, "You hate Rudolph?"

"Have you seen it?" he asked, tone indicative of a harsh critic.

She hummed. "I watch it every Christmas."

"Why?"

"Stop motion animation is scary. I love it."

"Of course you do."

From across the room, Bert was staring at them. More accurately, he was staring at Frankie's belly. It was as if he'd never seen a pregnant person before. Frankie didn't care, used to people looking at her for one reason or another. If it wasn't for her style, height, or reputation, she usually gave them something to look at and that usually got her into trouble. However, things had changed, and nevertheless, there was nothing she could do about it other than have fun with it.

She turned to Bert and glared at him. "You got a problem?" she asked, knowing good and well there wasn't any problem Bert of all people would have with her.

His cheeks bloomed red and he brought his eyes up to meet hers, addressing her in some way. He shook his head quickly and she saw he remembered her time in Cobra Kai. All of those memories of her rage and winning streak ran through his mind.

She smirked at him, feeling a little mean. "You sure about that? 'cause you just can't keep your eyes off me."

That point got Demetri's attention and he looked over at Bert, a little confused and suddenly protective. His arm got tighter around Frankie's shoulders but she shrugged him off. His hold loosened immediately but he kept his eyes on the young former Cobra, who was starting to sweat in his Christmas sweater under the pressure.

Sam came over and hit Demetri on the shoulder. "You two aren't helping." She pointed an accusing finger at Frankie. "Stop it."

"I didn't do anything," she said, smirking knowingly.
