Passing time (chapter 6)

A/n- today's my birthday!!! , figured I write for you all anyways so enjoy ! Also sorry if my writings shit I haven't really been as motivated as usual

"Oo that looks like a good bagel shop."
You pointed as you saw one bagel shop as you continued to walk around the airport. You saw one of the shops , it was almost like a deli and it had a nice sleek look on the outside of it and looked pretty clean. It had a sign hanging at the top of the shop that said "we be bagels." In bright orange lettering with a black border. The sign was lit up , one of the letters flickering slightly and you nudged simon and he raised an eyebrow slightly as he saw the name.
"That's a bloody weird name for a shop."
Simon muttered as he watched you walked closer to the shop.
"It's not that bad , as long as they got food.
You shrugged as you tried pushing the door and it wouldn't budge and as you pushed again simon gently pushed you out of the way and pulled the door causing you too let off a Little embarrassed look as he held open the door for you letting you walk in.

As You walked in taking in the wonderful smell of bagels , coffee and other treats and baked goods. You saw two small black tables with four chairs at each one of them and you looked to the front to see all the bagels lined up in the front at the counter. You smiled and looked at ghost and he looked down at the rows of bagles and gave a hum of apporovment. There was a young girl at the front counter , about a little older than you and she wore a black apron with a white undershirt and some black sweatpants. She had her hair up in a bun and she greeted you a smile as you walked up to the counter with ghost lurking behind you , his tall stature standing over you.

As she looked up and saw ghost her look turned into one of a nervous one as she saw the skull masked man. Simon glared her down for a moment and you observed to see that her body language changed to one of a nervous one an you looked at Simon and jabbed him as if to say
'Your making her nervous' and he let off a huff.
You rolled your eyes at him before giving a soft smile to the lady.
"Sorry about him...I uh ill get a everything bagel with (whatever spread you prefer) and....?"
You looked at Simon.
"Coffee , black. No sugar."
He says bluntly and the lady nods an smiles nervously puts in the order.

"I'll get ready on t-that.."
She stumbled over her words a bit as she put on gloves and began to make your food. As she worked you pulled Simon aside and you gave him a hard look.
"What the fuck dude ? Don't go scaring people around like that I know that you know your presence is intimadting."
You crossed your arms as he didn't answer and you sighed.
"Dam brute."
You Muttered as you looked out the shop window seeing all the people walking around with there luggage along with security roaming as well making sure everything was in order and safe.
As ghost heard your words he chuckled under his breath as he stood waiting. He had a thing for liking to get under people's skin watching as the started to crumble before him. Sometimes it was on purpose and to be an ass while others was him simply midning his own , regardless he was intimidating nonetheless but he wasn't some moralless piece of shit.

As you both waited a few more minutes the lady finished making what you both orders and she set it on the counter. You walked over and she looked over at you.
"That'll be 4.50."
She spoke and you Raised a shocked outbrow.
Damn that's good pricing , you thought as you went to grab your wallet but Simon stopped you and pulled out a twenty and handed it to the lady, before she could even speak he stopped her.
"Keep the change"
He muttered as he grabbed his coffee and you raised an eyebrow as you grabbed your bagel and watched as he was the first to walk out , you follwing behind him.

As you walked out of the coffee shop you follwed behind him as you watched him lift his mask halfway to drink his coffee. You looked up at him as you unwrapped your bagel and you took a small bite , chewing as you looked Around seeing all the waiting areas an gates.
"We're going to gate B so we'll be there in a few minutes , we have about 15 minutes until we load on our flight."
He says as he took a sip of his coffee. You nodded as you heard his words and you made sure to keep up behind him.
"Your like the dad that wakes up ten hours early before a flight but shockingly we're here on time."
You joked and he smirked.
"Better early than late and waiting for another flight for ten hours."
He explained and you hummed in a sort of agreement.

You and him walked for a few moments before coming across a few bathrooms and more shops and such as you walked to the gate you were supposed to be at. Eventually you made your way to your gate that you were supposed to be at and you sat down in the waiting area looking out of the large windows seeing the plane you were going to board and the people working blow as they loaded your luggage and other peoples luggage onto the lower level of the plane. You sat in the waiting areas sitting down eating your bagel in silence just enjoying your breakfast and as you turned to looked at ghost drinking his coffee and gave a nod.
"Thanks for the food."
You a knowledged and he nodded as if to say your welcome.

It was a waiting game that wouldn't be long for you knew you'd be home soon and with your family for long.
