*The scene opens with Ozzy and Isaiah holding Ryan and Zack tightly in their arms, sobbing and struggling to even breathe. The others are also crying but are too scared to get closer than they already have.*
Ozzy: Noooo! Zack! Zack!!! Please! Come on, Zack. Wake up and use your stand! Rewind yourself! Pleaseee!!!!
*Ozzy stares into Zack's eyes and can see no light whatsoever inside of them. Zack's body is simply an empty vessel now. Realizing this, Ozzy cries out loudly and hugs Zack's body in order to try and say goodbye to him in anyway possible.
Ozzy: I love you so much, Zack. If you can still hear me somehow, just know, I'm proud of you.
*Isaiah sets Ryan down and covers his face to try and desperately escape the situation currently in front of him. But the feeling of blood on his hands touching his face brings him back.*
Isaiah: Why?!!! Why did it have to be them?
*Layne steps forwards and leans down to get closer to everyone else before speaking.*
Layne: I'm sorry everyone, and if you wanna punch me for saying this, feel free to. But we can't just stay around here any longer. We need to get moving.
*Ozzy and Isaiah both shoot a mean glance at Layne, appalled by his audacity to speak at a time like this. Filled with rage, Ozzy stands up and confronts Layne.*
Ozzy: You did this, didn't you?!!! You were never on our side!
*Layne backs up nervously as Ozzy pressures him further.*
Ozzy: Ryan didn't start experiencing those serious symptoms until you showed up! You're still working with the enemy aren't you?!!!
*Duality grabs Layne by the throat and lifts him off the ground while choking him. Layne frantically tries to break free but is overpowered by the stand.*
Bryce: Ozzy, wait! Don't kill him. We don't know that for sure!
*Ozzy stares Layne down, with nothing but pure hatred in his eyes. The group notices that Ozzy's demeanor has turned less human as well.*
Ozzy: Oh don't worry, Bryce. I don't wanna kill this guy. I want to torture him until he wants to die, only to keep him alive to suffer eternally.
*Hayden walks over and grabs onto Ozzy's shoulder firmly before speaking.*
Hayden: Calm down, Ozzy. I understand you're upset but think about it for a second. Layne hasn't shown any signs of being with the enemy. So just set him down.
*Ozzy takes in the words of Hayden and tears begin to run down his cheeks again. Layne watches as Duality also starts crying before letting him go.*
Ozzy: I'm sorry. . . Layne.
*Ozzy walks back over to Zack before sitting down next to him with Duality summoned.*
Ozzy: I can't bring you back. . . But I can make you whole again. I can make you and Ryan both whole again.
*Duality reaches down and touches Zack's body. Soon Zack's body is clean of blood and the bullet hole seemingly gone. Ozzy then does the same to Ryan before looking up tearfully at Isaiah.*
Ozzy: The opposite of a bloody corpse. . . Is a. . . Peaceful one.
*Isaiah tearfully looks into Ozzy's eyes before reaching out to hug him. As the two console each other, Bryce turns to Layne and discusses the plan they came up with.*
Bryce: I hate to say it, Layne. But our plan is gonna have to change. Ryan was mean to get us across large distances without leaving an obvious trail.
Layne: You're right. Perhaps we can reassign Andrew to that? How strong is his stand?
