The scene opens with Layne and the group sitting down at a wide round table. Ryan is sat in between Hayden and Ozzy as they are trying something on Ryan while the others chose their own seats.*
Hayden: Are you sure you want Ozzy to try that, Ryan? What if something else happens.
Ryan: It can't be anything worse than what I'm already going through.
Bryce: Yeah, but this is a bit extreme. You're currently cognitively functional. If Ozzy-
Ryan: If that happens then Ozzy can just turn me into the opposite of that.
Ozzy: Look, Ryan, I know you're fine with me doing that to you, but I'm not sure how I feel about it.
*Hayden looks over at Layne and raises an eyebrow before questioning him.*
Hayden: What do you make of this, Layne?
Layne: Honestly, I'm not sure. It's an interesting thought but I don't know if it would even work.
Ozzy: I'm not even sure if it will either! I've never used my stand on a person's brain before!
Zack: Wait a minute, Ozzy.
Ozzy: What's up?
Zack: Didn't you say you explained in the car ride to Hayden that you tried to make yourself the opposite of blind after Bryce's upgrade?
Ozzy: Yeah, it didn't work. What about it?
Zack: I know you weren't actually blind, but you were at the time.
Bryce: What exactly are you getting at here, Zack?
Zack: Well being blind is a disease right? Or kinda similar. It's something you can't really fight. So wouldn't your stand not be able to affect Ryan's dementia?
*Bryce looks over at Zack stunned and then looks at everyone else in disbelief.*
Bryce: Am I also having mental issues? Or did Zack just say something competent for once?
Zack: Hey come on. I've said competent things before.
Ozzy: I don't know, I think I actually agree with Bryce here a bit. That was weirdly smart for you. Especially considering how ignorant you are to your surroundings constantly.
Zack: Seriously? Do y'all really have that little faith in me?
Isaiah: They're just messing with you, Zack. You've had a few smart ideas.
*Ryan leans back in his chair and sinks into himself slightly.*
Ryan: So then what can we do?
*Zack looks down at his wrist as he's tapping his hand on the table to stimulate himself.*
Zack: I've got an idea.
Bryce: Oh boy. Here we go.
Andrew: Hold on, Bryce. Let's see what he can come up with.
Bryce: I'll be surprised if it's anything intelligent but go right ahead, Zack.
*Zack narrows his eyes and looks angrily at Bryce before continuing to explain his idea.*
Zack: I was able to rewind myself to make me not blind anymore. If my stand works on "diseases" then maybe I can rewind Ryan to the point before he has dementia.
Bryce: Okay, I'll admit. That is smarter than I was expecting.
Hayden: But it's still not a good idea.
*The group all turn their heads towards Hayden surprised by his interjection.*
Zack: Why not?
Bryce: Yeah, why not? Wow, I can't believe I'm on the same page as Zack for once.
