*The scene opens with Bryce five years ago in his Junior year of Highschool. He's carrying a lunchbox in his hand as he opens the door to the school cafeteria.*

(Bryce): Let's see. Where are they?

*Bryce looks around the cafeteria until he sees Riley, Ryan and Hayden all sitting at a table together.*

(Bryce): There they are.

*Bryce walks over to them and sets his lunchbox down before sitting at the table.*

Bryce: Sup.

*Ryan Looks over at Bryce as he's taking his seat.*

Ryan: What the hell took you so long?

Bryce: Damn teacher wanted to see me after class.

Riley: Uh oh. What did you do this time?

Bryce: Nothing!

Hayden : Come on, Bryce. You had to have done something. You always do.

Bryce: I swear I didn't do anything this time.

Riley: Then why did the teacher wanna see you after class?

Bryce: She's concerned about my grades.

Ryan: Are you struggling in her class?

Bryce: Struggling? Hell no. I just don't feel like doing her hours of homework she assigns.

Hayden: Her homework takes you hours? It doesn't take me that long.

Bryce: Well I don't know how long it actually takes obviously. I don't fucking do it.

Riley: Well what grade do you currently have in her class?

Bryce: I've got a C

Ryan: C? That's nothing to be worried about.

Bryce: Yeah but she's saying that if I keep missing homework it'll drop even further.

Riley: If I were you Bryce, I'd start doing my homework.

Bryce: Yeah well you aren't me. Anyways, enough about my grades. Hayden! How's the class president campaign going?

Hayden: Oh. . . Alright I suppose.

Bryce: What? You don't know how you're doing?

Hayden: I know a few pieces of information. Some things I wish weren't happening.

Bryce: Like what?

Hayden: Well for one, Ozzy has been putting up propaganda that slanders my opponents in the school bathrooms.

*Bryce chokes on his food as a sudden burst of laughter emerges. He barely collects himself before continuing the conversation.*

Bryce: You serious?

Hayden: Yeah.

Riley: Speaking of Ozzy, where is he?

Hayden: Supposedly he's out sick today.

Ryan: This is like the fourth time this month he's been out sick.

Riley: Maybe he has the flu or something?

Ryan: The flu doesn't last that long! I think he's lying just to get out of school.

Bryce: Who knows. You never know with Ozzy. But other than that, Hayden, you think you're gonna win?

Hayden: I'm hoping so. I feel confident.

*Bryce sets down his food and turns directly towards Hayden.*
