'ISABELLLLAAAAAA' I jolt up, sweat forming in the corners of my face, from my pleasant and peaceful sleep. My heart almost leaps out my mouth, and I think it's pretty certain to say I near enough peed myself.

I pull my covers over my half naked body and spin around, finding the source of the sound sitting smiling brightly to my left.

'Molly, for fucks sake, what do you want?' I slur, my body still not fully functioning from being abruptly disturbed.

'Oi, I will not accept you being all moany on your own freaking birthday' She commands, still wildly smiling. 'Now, get your sorry act together and open my darn present' She says, holding out a perfectly wrapped present in black plain wrapping paper, with a red ribbon crossing over the middle of the present.

How the hell can someone be so good at wrapping?

And more the point, how could I forget my own birthday.

Birthdays haven't been a big deal for me before, I mean all you're doing is celebrating the great escape from your mothers vagina. Weird eh.

But from what it looks like, Molly's family go all out.

I sigh loudly and finally smile giving into her commands to 'not be all moany', I suppose this isn't the time to rant to her about her made up word.

'Open it then' She urges, placing the finely wrapped present in front over me on my duvet.

'Did you wrap this?' I ask, slipping off the ribbon.

'Mhm' she replies.

'Wow' I breathe, eying up the present once more.

Quite ungracefully, I rip through the wrapping paper like my life depends on it. Cloth falls out.

What?

When I grab hold of the heap and open it up, I realise it's actually a shirt, not just some cloth.

Phew, at least I won't have to do the whole 'oh yeah, wow just what I wanted, thanks' speech thing.

However it would have come in handy for when I needed to mop up the remains of my dignity after that speech.

Holy fucking shit no.

I hold out the inverted black and white baseball style shirt, with Fall Out Boy printed in the middle. Jesus, this literally was what I wanted.

'Oh my' I breathe, completely in awe with a piece of clothing.

It was genuinely one of the best shirts I'd ever seen.

'Brand new in the pop up shop baby' She smirks, nodding slightly.

'Thanks' I smile, hugging it to my chest.

'Anytime' She says, standing up and walking over to my make shift mirror, stood up against the wall in the corner of my room.

Yesterday, I, Molly and Molly's mum Eve went shopping so she could pick me out a few things for my room.

It ended up me just buying grey and white paint, a new mirror, some new fairy lights and a lampshade.

My colour choice is very imaginative i know. Judging by the fact I cant settle on what movie to watch, I thought it would be even harder to settle on a colour.

I'm still yet to painting my room but everything else seems to fit nicely in the average sized room.

I slip out of my duvet cover, trying not to attract Molly's attention as she looked in the mirror inspecting her face, and put on my black jeans and new FOB long sleeve before bringing my lilac hair round to the side.
