Rose Weasley
"Yay! We have most of our classes together!" exclaimed Rose, as she and Jo looked over their schedules at breakfast the next morning.
"Yes, well expect for potions, because you know I'm absolutely awful at Potions," said Jo, who truly was awful at Potions. She always mixed up the different ingredients and instructions, and usually ended up blowing the Potion up in her face.
Rose giggled, "You're right. Besides, I'm taking advanced Potions."
"Yeah. Hey Rose, I wanted to ask your opinion on something. What do you think of me trying out for Ravenclaw Quidditch team?
Rose contemplated the question. Then a huge smile spread across her face.
"Jo, I think that's great! You're a fantastic Seeker! Second best, next to my uncle Harry of course." she smiled, "And anyways, Louis fancies you, so he'll put you on the team."
Louis Weasley, was one of Rose's many male cousins. He was a seventh year in Ravenclaw, who just so happened to have a crush on Jo. And also be the Ravenclaw Quidditch captain.
"He doesn't fancy me!" Blushed Jo, as she gave her best friend a little slap on the arm.
Rose just laughed, "Common, we'll be late for Charms."

Rose just finished doing some reading in the library for her free period, when it was time for Potions. She grabbed her things and headed down to the class.
When she arrived, she quickly scanned the room looking for somewhere to sit. None of her friends were taking advanced Potions. Then a big grin appeared on her face, for she had spotted a familiar blonde haired boy.
"Mind if I sit here?" she asked Scorpius, who was sitting in the back of the classroom.
Scorpius turned and gave her a huge smile.
"Of course."
She sat down and pulled out a piece of parchment and her quill.
" So Rose, how did your first day back go?"
"Oh excellent. I love being back!"
"I know," Scorpius gave one of his drop dead gorgeous smiles.
"Did I tell you that Jo wants to try-out for the Quidditch team too?"
"That's awesome! She's an excellent Seeker!" said Scorpius, "And Louis would put her on the team even if she wasn't a good player."
Rose giggled, "That's what I told her, but she doesn't believe me!"
Scorpius rolled his eyes, "Louis just needs to plunk up the courage to ask her out. Some men just need to grow some balls."
"You're one to talk!" Rose almost shouted. She then realised what she had just said. She quickly covered her mouth.
"Excuse me?"
"Umm...well...I...umm...Lily had just said it took you a long time to ask her out." 'Nice save,' Rose thought to herself.
"Oh." said Scorpius, "And about Lily,"
He was then interrupted by their Potions master, Professor Wilkinson.
"Good afternoon class. I hope you all had an excellent summer.
Now let's get down to business. For our first Potion, we will be making a Love Potion."
'Oh great,' Rose thought, 'Just what I need.'
"Now, who can tell me what another name for the love potion is? Ahh, yes Mr. Malfoy?"
"Amortentia, sir."
"Correct! Ten points to Ravenclaw. Now, can anyone tell me who the inventor is?
Rose raised her hand.
"Yes, Miss. Weasley,"
"Laverne de Montmorency invented it in the 1800s," Rose answered proudly.
"Excellent! Another ten points to Ravenclaw! Now, with your seat partner, you will start to brew the Love Potion. Turn to page 21 in your textbooks and begin."
Rose went to go gather the ingredients they needed, while Scorpius set things up at the desk. They always did this in Potions. They worked well as a team, and were able to produce an excellent potion in the end.
Rose returned with the ashwinder eggs, rose thorns, peppermint, and powered moonstone to find that Scorpius had everything ready. She smiled. "We're a great team," she told Scorpius.
"I know we are. That's why I'm always your partner." he said, smiling.
She smiled back.
Then Scorpius started sorting through the ingredients. "Oh look. We have rose thorns. Luckily the Rose I'm working with isn't a thorn. She's just a beautiful flower." he said.
Rose turned a deep shade of red, that matched her hair.
"Oh my gosh! You little flirt!" she finally managed to squeak out.
Scorpius laughed, "I only flirt with people, worthy of my flirtatious ora."
Rose rolled her eyes. "You are quite conceited my dear friend. And I'm sure Lily wouldn't want you flirting with other ladies."
At that, Scorpius face turned serious, "Rose, about Lily, I"
He was cut off by Professor Wilkinson.
'Ahh. Mr. Malfoy and Miss. Weasley, two of my best students. What have you brewed up for me this time."
The professor looked into the caldron and a smiled appeared on his face. "Well done you two. This potion could make anyone fall in love. Now, Scorpius don't be stealing any of this to use on Miss. Weasley, you here." he said, laughing at his own joke.
"I'll try to resist the urge sir," said Scorpius, being playful.
Professor Wilkinson smiled, awarded Ravenclaw forty points, then dismissed the class. Outside the classroom, Scorpius caught hold of Rose's arm.
"Hey Rose, could I talk to you for a minute?"
"Yeah sure,"
'Well the thing is..." he started and was then rudely interrupted by Albus.
"Oh there you are Rose!" he said panting, for he had clearly just been running, "I've been looking everywhere for you,"
"Why? What's wrong? said Rose, dismissing the fact to tell Albus that she was in class.
"James's in a fight,"
