Scorpius Malfoy

"Alright Fred, truth or dare?" asked Roxanne starting off the game.

Fred, Roxanne, James, Albus, Lily, Rose and Scorpius had all gathered in the living room, sitting crisscross-applesauce on the ground. They had all huddled in a circle, Scorpius and Rose sitting on opposite sides of the circle.

Fred thought for a moment. "Truth," he said.

"Where was your first time?" Roxanne smirked, knowing the question would iurk Fred.

Fred's face turned a deep shade of crimson. James and Albus snickered, while Lily tried to hide a smile. Rose kept inching closer and closer to where her book sat on the chair, while Scorpius just sat there, uncomfortable.

"Well, um... I..." Fred started, stuttering and stammering. He blushed even more than he already was. "Fine, I'm a virgin!" He spit out.

Everyone's, expect Roxanne's, mouths dropped down to the floor. This came as a surprising thing to most people, seeing as Fred was quite a player.

"So, you've really never "done it?"'' asked Lily, putting air quotes around "done it."

Fred shook his head.

"What about Diane Brown? I mean, surely you did it with her. You practically snogged her every chance you got," exclaimed Albus, still not over the shock.

Fred shook his head again. "Nope, we never did. Can we move on already?"

The night progressed on, the kids asking the most embarrassing truths and truly outrageous dares. Scorpius was able to find out very interesting facts about the Weasley/Potter family, especially about Rose. He never knew that she once had a pretend engagement with Albus when they were about three. The family still teased them about it to the day, but Scorpius couldn't help but find it hilarious.

Scorpius was also forced to share tidbits about himself he would have much preferred to not have shared. The thing about playing truth or dare with a bunch of wizards, is the fact that they will cast a truth spell on you to make sure you aren't telling falsehoods. There is no way to avoid telling the truth in Wizard's Truth or Dare.

"Scorpius," started James, "Truth or dare?"

Scorpius contemplated for a moment. He had already done quite a lot of dares, so he decided a good bet would be on a truth.

"Alright, truth."

"Do you have a crush on our little Rosie?"

The room went silent. James had a large smirk on his face, so did Fred and Roxanne who were sharing a look. Lily hid a smile behind her hands, while Albus just had a dumb grin on his face. And poor Rose, whose cheeks turned a deep shade of crimson, tried not to make eye it contact with anyone. Especially Scorpius.

Scorpius gulped, his Adam's apple moving as he did so. What should I say? he thought desperately to himself. Of course, almost everyone in the room knew Scorpius liked Rose, everyone except maybe Rose herself. But it is most embarrassing to admit it out loud for everyone to hear. Plus, he couldn't lie and say he didn't since they had a truth spell on him.

He glanced at the rug on the floor, all of a sudden drawing a great interest in it. "Yes," he said, barely above a whispers. The group started silently snickering, Albus and James making "ooohhhh" sounds as if they were immature First Years.

"Alright you lot, let's leave the lovebirds alone," said Roxanne, standing up suddenly and ushering all the cousins out of the living room. Before Scorpius had a chance to say or do anything, they were out of there.

That left only Rose and Scorpius in the room, the fire burning, leaving only the last ember a glow. Rose sat on the other side of the room, sitting criss-cross applesauce with her red hair tucked into a ponytail. God, she's beautiful.

"I'm sorry about that," Scorpius started, not quite sure why he was apologizing, since it was her cousins who started the whole thing.

Rose shrugged. "It's fine. I'm used to it by now."

Scorpius chuckled. "I'll bet. They do things like that often?"

Rose smiled a little. "All the time."

The awkwardness of the silence overwhelmed them both. Scorpius stood up and started to pace, which normally happened when he was nervous.

"Well?" Rose asked, standing up.

Scorpius turned to her, "Well what?"

"Aren't you going to kiss me or something?" she said, drawing closer to him.

Scorpius gulped. "Yeah... I guess I should...."
