Rose Weasley

Rose did a double take. Jo was in there with Christian? Christian Wood, Rose's ex-boyfriend and not even Jo's boyfriend. Flora whispered in Rose's ear, "It that who I think it is?"

Rose turned to Flora and nodded sadly. What am I going to do? she thought to herself. She obviously should stop them, because Jo was cheating on Louis. Unless, they had broken up but Rose was fairly sure she would know if they had. And wasn't Christian dating Melanie Vain? Rose's mind was all jumbled up with information and her heart was beating with several different emotions. Then she made a decision.

"What do you two think you're doing?" Rose said, marching into the classroom. Jo and Christian jumped apart from each other. Christian's button up white shirt was unbutton, his shaggy hair disheveled as though Jo had been running her hands through it. Jo's own hair was almost as messy, with her skirt riding up to just under her bum. Her white top was also unbuttoned halfway, revealing her pink bra.

"Rose," Jo stammered, blushing a deep shade of red. "We were just, oh you know, studying."

Rose rolled her eyes. "Ah, studying. In a empty classroom, past curfew, and studying with our clothes almost off I see? New method of studying then?"

Christian stepped toward Rose. "Look Rose..." he started.

Rose didn't let him finish. "No Christian, you look. Don't you realize how immature you are both being? Both of you are in relationships, yet here you are snogging someone who clearing isn't your boyfriend or girlfriend. I don't care if you two have feelings for each other, but at least have the common decency to end your current relationships before you go and start a new one." With that, she turned on her heel, motioned for Flora to follow her and made her way out of the room.

Rose and Flora started walking back to the Ravenclaw Tower, when Jo came and caught up to them. "Rose," she said, breathing a little from running, "I'm sorry."

Rose looked at her. She did look sorry. "I am not the one you need to apologize to."

Rose woke up late the next morning. She hadn't stayed up to wait for Jo. In fact, she had little she wanted to do with Jo. Rose got up and dressed quickly, then made her way towards the Great Hall.

She heard the Great Hall before she saw it, the clinking and clanking of dishes and the chatter of students. Suddenly, she didn't want to go. There was a good chance she would run into Jo and Christian and she didn't want to have to face them. But she was hungry...

"Deciding whether you should go in or not?" said Scorpius, who popped up behind her and kissed her lightly on top of her head.

Rose turned and smiled at him. "Actually, yes." Rose decided to tell Scorpius about Jo and Christian, relaying the whole story to him. "But please don't tell Albus," she said at the end. "He would feel like he would have to tell Louis and I want Jo to do that herself."

Scorpius nodded his head. "I promise I won't. That is awful. Why would Jo do something like that? That doesn't seem like her?"

Rose sighed. "I don't even know who she is anymore."

"I'm sorry you had to find out. Especially like that. You just have such a big heart." Scorpius pulled Rose close to him and gently kissed her on the forehead. "Now, let's go get you some breakfast."

Scorpius led Rose into the Great Hall. Rose quickly scanned the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff tables, looking for Jo and Christian. She was pleased to find neither of them. But she also didn't see Louis anywhere. "Do you think Jo already told Louis?" she asked Scorpius, as the two sat down at the Ravenclaw table.

"Who knows. All I know is I haven't seen him today," Scorpius said, making up plates of pancakes, bacon, and eggs for the both of them. "Don't worry about it so much Rose. It's not your problem. You need to let them figure it out for themselves."

Rose nodded and accepted the food Scorpius handed her, but she couldn't get her mind off of the whole situation. She half heartedly ate her food and listened to Scorpius talk about a book he had recently read, but she wasn't fully there. When breakfast was over, Scorpius and her made their way to the Potions classroom, but Potions was the last thing on Rose's mind.

Scorpius Malfoy

Scorpius hated seeing Rose like this. He knew her well enough to know that she wouldn't stop thinking about it until the mess had been resolved. However, he also knew there was nothing he could do to solve anything for he had promised not to tell Albus, which was his only idea. Until now..

The day passed to slowly for Scorpius's taste, because he had a plan and he needed to see it out. After he had finished classes for the day, he set to work.

Rose Weasley

Rose had had too long of a day. She hadn't seen either Jo or Christian all day and she was going mad. She hadn't dared to ask Louis anything, incase Jo hadn't told him yet. Her heart raced with anticipation and anxiety.

She was sat at in the Ravenclaw common room, reading a book. Well, she was supposed to be reading but had actually been stuck on the same page for the past 20 minutes. She hadn't seen Scorpius since their last class together, which also worried her. Of course they hadn't been dating for long, but she was almost sure that he would be trying to find her.

As if on cue, Scorpius raced into the Ravenclaw common room, breathing heavily as if he had been running. "There you are," he said, smiling as he made his way over to where she sat. "Come with me, please." He held out his hand to her.

Rose took his hand with a quizzical glance. "Where are we going?" she asked, as he led her out the door.

"A destination that is to remain a mystery until we get there," he said, handing over a scarf to tie around her eyes. Once she had it wrapped and couldn't see a thing, Scorpius dragged her by the hand and led her to their unknown destination.

"You're not going to take me somewhere to murder me are you?" she joked, her voice a bit muffled from the scarf.

Scorpius didn't say anything, he just continued to led her round corners and up and down staircases. Rose had no idea where they were in the castle. For all she knew, they weren't even in the castle anymore. After walking around for what felt like forever, Scorpius stopped suddenly, making Rose bump into him.

"We're here, but you can't take your blindfold till I say so." he said.

Scorpius pushed her into a room, at least that's what it felt like to Rose. She stood there for awhile, awkwardly, as she heard Scorpius move around the room. Then she felt him behind her, untying her blindfold.

"Ta-dah!" he said as he ripped off the scarf. Rose gasped. She was standing in an empty classroom that had been transformed. The room glistened with what looked like tiny fireflies flying around the room. They glowed golden, making the dark room romantic and charming. There was a small table in the middle of the room, with comfy pillows surrounding it, so you could sit down. On the table, were plates and plate full of deserts. Cookies, cakes, and candies of every type of category. There was a pitcher of water in the middle, with two glasses next it. Soft music was playing from somewhere. It was perfect.

"Scorpius!" Rose squealed, turning to face him. "Did you do all of this?"

Scorpius grinned sheepishly at her. "Yeah," he said, blushing slightly. Rose giggled at his shyness, then gently leaned in and kissed him.

"Thank you," she whispered against his lips.

Scorpius kissed her back, then led her to the table in the middle of the room. "Your table, awaits m'lady."

As the night progressed, Rose couldn't help thinking how lucky she was to have Scorpius Malfoy in her life.
