Scorpius Malfoy

"Scorp, honey, you're going to be late," a voice called from another part of the large house.

Scorpius rolled out of the large king-sized bed and got up and showered and dressed. He quietly made his way down to the kitchen where his wife was cooking breakfast.

He silently tip-toed into the room, and then pounced on his wife with a hug from behind and a kiss on the cheek.

The wife turned and smiled. She kissed him and handed him a plate of eggs. "Hurry and eat those, you don't want to be late. My father will be cross if you're not on time for the training," she said, while piling a plate full of eggs for herself.

The couple enjoyed a quick little meal together, before the clock struck seven, signaling Scorpius had to leave.

"Have a good day at work darling," his wife said as she kissed him goodbye.

"Goodbye Rosie," he said before he apparated out of sight.

Scorpius bolted up right, the pounding in his head almost unbearable. He tried hard to focus on his surroundings, but his mind was in an endless fog. His throat was dry, making it hard for him to swallow. Suddenly, he felt the urge to throw up. He raced to the bathroom on the other side of the room and made it just in time. He then realized what it was..... a hangover.

After puking a few more times he felt better. Scorpius exited the bathroom, and found he was in his dorm room in the Ravenclaw tower. None of his roommates were in the room. He checked the watch that his father had given him and was shocked to find it read 1:45PM. He was dead. He had missed most of his classes, plus breakfast AND lunch. "Why couldn't Halloween have been on a Friday this year?" he thought to himself.

He quickly jumped in the shower, trying to wash off all the remains of the party. It was only when the cold water hit his head, that he thought about his dream. "Surely that wasn't Rose. It couldn't be. I mean, Rose and me? Never," Scorpius thought. But as much as he tried to deny it, the girl in the dream did look an awful lot like Rose. From the freckles to the frizzy red locks, it was Rose Weasley.

When he turned off the water and dried off, he felt much better. He dressed, and decided to go try and look for food. He raced down the stairs and arrived in an empty common room. Except for a frizzy red headed girl he didn't really want to run into.

He cleared his throat, which made Rose jump. She turned away from the book on her lap.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty," she teased.

Scorpius rolled his eyes, but smiled anyway. No matter how much he didn't want to talk to her, afraid of the topic of his dream coming up, he couldn't help it. He loved being around her. He plopped himself down on a chair close to hers. "Did you enjoy the party last night?" he asked, looking at the remains scattered all across the common room floor.

Darkness clouded in Rose's eyes, but she quickly said, "Yeah, sure,"

"What? You didn't have fun?"

"Not necessarily,"

"Why?" Scorpius was generally concerned.

Rose sighed. "Just, not my thing,"

"Oh," Scorpius stared at the floor and then asked, "So, where is everyone?"

"Quidditch field. Hufflepuff and Gryffindor match today remember?" Rose laughed, her laugh ringing across the room.

Scorpius blushed. He should have remembered but he was to hungry to care. "Do you know where I could get some food?" he questioned.

"Follow me,"

"Why are you tickling a pear?" was Scorpius's first question.

Rose only laughed as a wall opened in front of them.

"You Weasleys and your secret passage ways,"

The two entered the room, behind the wall opening and were met a delicious smell. A small house elf ran up to them. "Mistress Rose! What can we get you?" it asked, her big eyes happy and smiling.

"Hello Mimi, Scorpius here would like some food,"

"Anything really," piped in Scorpius.

"Yes, anything," smiled Rose.

Mimi scurried away and Rose led Scorpius to a bench on the side of the white kitchen. Scorpius noticed Rose examining him, then she said, "You look horrible,"

"Wow, geez, thanks Rosie," said Scorpius sarcastically.

Rose giggled. "I mean, you just look awfully tired. Must be from all that drinking last night," she said with a knowing smirk.

"Oh yeah, that," Scorpius did feel awful. Better than this morning, but still horrible.

"Do you remember anything from last night?" asked Rose out of the blue.

"No, not much," Scorpius admitted. He tried hard to think of anything from the previous night, but it all came back fuzzy. "Why? Did I do something last night?"

"No," Rose said absentmindedly, "Ah, here comes some food,"

Mimi appeared carrying a plate full of chicken, mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, and some pudding. "Thanks Mimi," Rose and Scorpius said in unison. Both blushed a deep shade of red.
