Scorpius Malfoy
"You're what?" Draco asked.
At that moment, the waitress arrived with their drinks, placing them on the table. "Are we ready to order?" she asked.
Draco glared at her. "I'll take that as a no," she said, leaving quickly.
Scorpius sighed. "I'm dating Rose Weasley dad."
"And why on earth would you do that?"
"Because I like her, because she makes me happy, because I love her! Dad, please don't make this a big deal," Scorpius pleaded, knowing it was a hopeless case.
Draco took a sip of his drink, then slammed it down on the table, causing bits of the liquid inside the cup to splash over the side. "Scorpius, you know how I feel about their family. You know how they treated me." His voice was gradually growing louder and louder.
"I know dad, but they are fine with me dating her. They've let bygones be bygones. Why can't you do the same?"
"Because Scorpius, Weasley and that Mudblood Granger made my life a living hell in school."
"But you're friends with Harry and he was practically their leader!" Scorpius was getting annoyed now.
"Harry and I work together, that doesn't mean we're friends." Draco took another sip of his drink.
Scorpius was growing more and more irritated. "Why are you making this so difficult? And technically, I'm not even asking for permission or anything. I'm just telling you."
Draco sighed, putting his head in his hands. "Oh Scorpius, why must you always make everything so difficult? Why couldn't date that lovely Fay girl?"
"Because I love Rose dad! And I'm sorry that's not good enough for you! I thought you'd be mad, I did, but I hoped that by the end of this you'd at least be happy for me. Now, I see that was a hopeless case." Scorpius sat, his arms crossed, fuming. Why did his dad have to be such an asswhole?
Draco sighed again, running his hands through his gray-blonde hair. "I want you to break up with her."
Scorpius sat up straighter. "What did you say?" he growled, knowing exactly what he'd said.
"You heard me Scorpius. I want you to break up with her."
Scorpius stood up quickly, causing his Butterbeer to spill all over the table. "You can't make me break up with her. It's my life! I can date who I want and you can't tell me otherwise!" Scorpius turned on his heel and headed for the door.
"Where do you think you're going?" Draco shouted after him.
"Anywhere away from you," Scorpius shoot back, before marching out the pub door.

When Scorpius got back to the school, he had no idea where to go. He knew that most of the students would be attending Harry Potter's version of the Defense Against the Darks Arts seminar, while Scorpius's father's was the next day. Scorpius was fairly certain that Rose would be in there and she was about the only person he wanted to see.
He decided not to go in there and bother her, he would just see her after it. So he strolled along the halls of Hogwarts, not particularly sure of his destination. He didn't really feel like going back to his dorm or to the library and everyone was already in the Great Hall. He ended up just roaming around the halls.
Suddenly, as he walked past a closed door, it burst opened and Fay Parkinson emerged. "Fay," Scorpius said, surprised to see her. He was even more surprised to see a bottle in her hands.
