Scorpius Malfoy

From the minute Scorpius woke up, only one thought was running through his mind. He needed to stop drinking. His head pounded from all the alcohol he had consumed the night before, causing his brain to be all fuzzy. It was definitely worse than the hangover at Halloween.

Scorpius's eyes adjusted to the sunlight pouring in through the dormitory windows. He let out a huge yawn and stretched out on his bed. He glanced at his watch, 10:24AM, it read. Not yet, he thought.

He shuffled over to the bathroom, splashing cool water onto his face and vigorously brushed his teeth trying to get the taste of alcohol out of his mouth. Scorpius stared at himself in the bathroom mirror. He was a wreck. His skin was ghostly pale, almost sickly. His eyes were bloodshot, losing their gray color. He wore a white cotton button up, that was incredibly wrinkled and gross. His platinum blonde hair was disheveled, going for the party the previous night look. He was disgusted with himself.

He popped into the shower, running the water till it was ice cold, turning his body into a human freezer. He loved it. He stayed in the shower, thinking about the previous night growing more angry and frustrated as he did. Frustration overtook him, causing him to close his eyes.

"Scorpius! Wake up! Scorp! Scorpius!"

Scorpius's eyes fluttered open. He was lying on his bed, head facing the ceiling . Suddenly Albus's face appeared in his line of vision.

He jumped up. "What the hell are you doing in here?" Scorpius asked, somewhat frustrated.

"Mate, you passed out in a shower." Albus said, sympathy in his eyes.

Scorpius looked confused, but then felt the dampness of his hair.

"Your roommate Laurence cane in and heard the water running, so he went into the bathroom and saw you passed out on the floor. He got you and then went and grabbed me. I've been here ever since."

"Oh."

Albus looked at Scorpius, concern in his eyes. "Not trying to go all therapeutic on ya mate, but are you okay?"

"Yes, of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?" Scorpius grumbled, getting out of bed but immediately regretting it, for his head started to throb.

"I don't know, you just don't seem like yourself lately." Albus continued, ringing his hands from the anxious nerves.

"I'm fine, okay?" Scorpius snapped. He opened his dresser drawer and grabbed a fresh pair of clothes. Scorpius then stormed to the bathroom and slammed the door.

Albus sighed. "Oh Scorp."

Rose Weasley

Rose took a deep breathe. You can do this, she said to herself, giving herself a motivational pep talk. She walked into the library, scanning the people's faces till she saw the person she was looking for.

She cleared her throat, then tapped him on the shoulder. "Christian?"

Christian looked up from the book in his lap, slightly startled. "Rose?" he said, his voice cracking a little.

She smiled. "Can I, uh, talk to you? In private?"

Christian glanced down at his book, then back to Rose. "Uh, yeah of course." He gathered his belongings and followed Rose out of the library.

She led him to a small alcove behind the library. Rose often went there when she wanted to be alone. She peered around the corner, checking to make sure no one was coming.

Rose looked at Christian and smiled awkwardly. "So, how have you been?" she asked, not wanting to come right out of the blue and break up with him.

"I've been good. Busy with school work, but you know how that is so..." Christian trailed off at the end, making an awkward lull in the conversation.

Rose took a deep breath, deciding she was just come out and say it. "IThinkWeShouldBreakUp," she said incredibly fast.

Confused, Christian asked, "Pardon? I didn't catch that?"

"Look Christian, you're a great guy. Sweet, caring, funny, and definitely boyfriend martial. But we haven't seen each other since the beginning of the year and we barely spend any time together anymore, so why stay in a relationship. I think you're a great person, but I just think it'd be better if we weren't a couple anymore. I still want to friends of course." Rose didn't mention anything about her kiss with Oliver. Lily, Jo and her had discussed it and decided it was best not to bring it up.

Rose looked into Christian's eyes, searching for any emotion. Hurt, anger, jealousy. But then she thought she saw of bit of relief in his bright green orbs.

And then he started chuckling. "Oh Rose, thank you."

Rose did a double take. "What did you say?"

"Thank you! I was trying to figure at someway to tell you, that I don't want to be in this relationship anymore. But you did it for me! So thank you!" Christian wore a huge grin as he gently kissed her on the cheek. "Goodbye Rose." Then he was out of sight.

"What was that?!" Rose exclaimed to herself.
