A/N Heyy so I'm kinda back. I know, I know. Those of you who are reading this and having been maybe waiting for me to update are probably VERY surprised, but I had some inspiration from the new Percy Jackson show to write something on this. So here you have it. I probably won't be writing on this fanfiction very often though (purely because life is VERY busy and I go in and out when I write on this platform if I ever do so) but thank you for reading this and coming back if you've been here before lol.

ANYWAYS, this fanfiction is based on after TLO, and is based off this awesome song called Take Yours by Matthew Mole. Some of it is focused on all the awesome percabeth moments we've been getting from the show recently. Seriously, Walker and Leah are amazing and middle schooler me is VERY happy. Especially because we had to wait for so long for any good lol. And the new PJO book that came out in September was soooo good, y'all have to read it if you haven't yet. Awesome addition to the story (mainly because I thought Magnus Chase was our last percabeth moment, like ever) and it is so well written and, just. Yeah. You should go read it, I'm not give it enough justice.

Also, if you have prayer requests or need some extra support, you can always leave a comment or reach out.

Otherwise, enjoy!

If there was one thing that Percy knew, it was that life was hard. Life wasn't meant to be easy. It surely wasn't meant to be all sunshine and rainbows. But if there was one thing that he had learned over the past four years of being a half-blood, it was that the people you have in your life are incredibly important. Community. Connection. Family. Friends. Embracing each moment while you still could. Seeking and looking for the good. That was what mattered the most. Sometimes, it was just easier to find those moments when things were peaceful.

And after four years of kicking monster butt and fighting his titan grandfather, Percy was ready to rest again. He had a rough life before; not having lots of friends growing up and living in small apartments with Gabe and his mom working constantly. Not to mention all the weird encounters he had, the doubt he had in his sanity (because no one could explain why he was seeing a Pegasus on a roof when he was seven). He was ready to enjoy being a sixteen-year-old. He was ready to actually be a camper at Camp Half Blood, not running around on quests and worrying about people's safety all the time. Namely, a certain somebody's safety.

How Annabeth like, liked him, was beyond Percy. And quite frankly, he didn't realize how much she meant to him until a year before, when she kissed him outside of Mount St. Helens. Since then, almost every time he saw her, was around her, he was amazed by her. She was amazing. She was always so brave, and so strong. And so kind. Just downright perfect in his mind. Even though they had only been really dating for two weeks, all Percy wanted was to spend time with her. And right now, as he walked up to her cabin, his heart started beating like a snare drum.

He didn't know much about romance, only seeing and taking some advice from Paul (what? He's his stepdad now, and Paul was all for Percy being "romantic") So, Percy being the "gentlemen" he was according to his mother, he found- or more so was given- a small batch of pink and white roses Y'all know those roses that are white and then have pink tint on the top of petal? Those were what I was thinking. to give to his girlfriend. Girlfriend was such a strange word for person, mainly because he never really saw himself in a relationship. He always saw himself as awkward and dorky. Maybe that's why Annabeth called him a Seaweed Brain, who knew?

Getting up to the door and taking a deep breath, he raised his hand to knock, trying to be respectful. He knocked, and stood there, trying to not to focus on his sweaty hands and the fact that several girls were practically squealing behind him. Everyone in camp knew that they were dating, and they all also knew that they had "feelings" for each other; even Chiron had hinted that him and Mr. D had a suspicion of the two of them getting together in the future. And apparently a bet that had been going on for the past four years according to the Stolls. Finally, thankfully, the door cracked open. Except, it wasn't Annabeth.
