I totally didn't write this when I was watching Friends lol. This is based off on the newest installment of the PJO series, Chalice of the gods. The time frame is around the time after the book (because the new book hasn't come out yet) so if you haven't read this book, there kind of spoilers so you have been warned.

Watching Percy write his college essays for NRU (New Rome University) was pretty entertaining. Annabeth couldn't help but giggle when she saw Percy trying to type out the little, scribbly letters off of his notebook paper. He was slowly typing each sentence onto his laptop, which was blue to no surprise, going back and forth with his tongue sticking out slightly. He was squinting his eyes, and Annabeth swore that she could see the circuits in his brain turning as he typed.

"Can you please help me?" Percy whined, throwing his head back. Currently, the two of them were on the sofa in Percy's apartment in Manhattan. They were sitting right next to one another, both clad in comfy clothes while Annabeth was reading a book. Percy was sitting criss crossed, leaning over the coffee table while he had the laptop on his lap.

Annabeth laughed, looking away from her book and smiling. She gave him a kiss on the cheek and ruffled his curly hair. "No. You've gotta do this on your own, Seaweed Brain." Percy groaned, rolled his eyes and glaring at the essay in front of him. "I can proofread it, though."

Percy huffed again, like the mature seventeen-year-old that he was. Getting up and stretching his arms above his head, he walked out of the living room and down the hallway, disappearing from sight. Even though the Jackson/Blofis apartment was smaller, it still felt like home. Annabeth always felt so comfortable and happy there. It truly was her home away from home (camp being her other home) Annabeth waited for a few minutes, but with no sign of Percy coming back, she closed her book and got up the couch. Besides going to his room, there was only one other place Percy would go to (and no, not the bathroom). At the end of the hall, there was a window that led to the fire escape, where Percy and started to hang out more as they started dating.

She remembered the first time that Percy brought her outside of the apartment, where they could sit out on the fire escape and look out on the bright lights and sunsets that faded over the city skyline. She and him were fourteen years old, and it was after their 'adventure' when Annabeth was kidnapped by Atlas and Percy (along with several of their friends) came to rescue her and stop the rogue titan. She came over around Spring Break to hang out, and it was raining outside.

Percy brought her outside to sit and look out at the sunset. It was a beautiful sunset, mixed with all kinds of pinks, yellow, and oranges; with clouds that looked like they were painted over the sky. And now, even though it was raining outside, she was still happy to go out and sit with him.

She felt bad for him honestly. She knew he was worried about making it to college, and now, since he was needing to complete quests in order to go to college, he was getting a tad bit stressed. Annabeth knew he would everything he could to get into college, and even though he was a hard worker; school, trying to get a job, writing his college letters, and worrying about when he would need to complete his next quest- she could tell it was starting to get to him.

As she made it out to the fire escape, she saw Percy leaning over the railings, the rain pouring around them. "You alright?" Annabeth asked, walking up and leaning on the railing.

Percy smiled, looking over at her, "Yes, of course." He grabbed her hand. "Just wanted a breath of fresh air. Helps me think. Besides, it gets stuffy in there," he said, looking back into the city. Rain always made Annabeth feel really calm, and she found out only a few months that it did the same thing for Percy too.

They had gone through a lot together. But what was so beautiful about their relationship, it was that no matter what they went through, there were still able to cherish each moment. Even if they were small and simple like these ones. Annabeth sat there with him for a while, watching the rain go from pouring heavy over the streets of Manhattan to sprinkle lightly. She looked over at Percy, who seemed to be in his own world at the moment. Biting her lip, she squeezed his hand, and muttered, "I love you."

Percy glanced at her, his face a little red. And without thought, he closed the gap between them and kissed her. It was short and sweet, but it was more than enough to make fireworks explode in her stomach. Once they pulled away, he looked at her lovingly. With so much adoration. "I love you too, Wise Girl." They stayed that way for moment, just looking at each other, before Annabeth felt a wave of chills rush over her. "Oh geez, you're probably freezing." Percy said, grabbing her hand and leading her back into the warm apartment.

The couple made it back into the apartment, Percy grabbing Annabeth a blanket out of a small blanket. As he handed it to her, he gave her a small kiss on the forehead, before sitting down next to her and quickly starting to type his paper again. Annabeth watched for a few seconds (not in a weird, stalker way I promise) and smiled, placing a hand on his shoulder. "You seem motivated," She joked. Percy looked back at her, with a look of 'really Wise Girl?' painted on his face.

"Well yeah, duh. Of course I'm motivated." He said as a matter of factly. He resumed typing, surprisingly a lot quicker than she was expecting him to.

"And may I ask what this motivation is?" She said, trying to see if he would say what she was hoping he'd say. Percy stopped again, but instead of giving her a dumb smirk or sarcastic comment, he smiled and grabbed her hand.

"You."

And it can be believed that it was exactly what Annabeth was hoping he would say.

Yay! This is like my fourth one in like a week. I don't I've typed this much like this in a long time. (At least for this story in particular) but like I said before, the show is giving me a lot of ideas. I also reread the PJO series so I think that helped spark some inspiration as well. And I don't know about you, but I absolutely adore rainy days.

Thank you for reading! This one was kind of slow, but its good. I had a lot of ideas for this one, and then they PUFF went away, but I like the ending of it. I like this would be something Percy would say to her.

Never forget your worth and value. Jesus loves you so much, even on your darkest days! Remember to always support, love, and be kind to one another. No judgement or hate will be condoned on my stories, so please treat one another with love :)

Y'all are truly amazing. Thank you again for reading and hopefully I'll be adding more to this story!
