Timeline: when they've first started dating

Percy was really good at Lazer tag. Better than most kids in his mind. He and a few friends (when he didn't move from school to school) back in elementary school would go to a local arcade and play.

And of course. Percy always won.

It was definitely a surprise when Annabeth got him out. In the most embarrassing way possible.

He was sitting behind a wall, holding his Lazer gun close to his chest and listening for some little kid to run besides him so he could get them out.

Annabeth and him were trying to find new things to do on dates. So when he found out she also had an addiction to Lazer tag, they had to go to some pizza place in the city that had one.

He hadn't seen Annabeth for at least fifteen minutes. But he knew she was sneaky. He had been in battle with her so many times that he knew her strategy pretty well. So he wasn't surprised that she hadn't came after him yet.

Until she did.

They were the last two left. And Percy heard her step put beside him next to a mirror that was a few feet away. She pointed her gun at him, and he pointed his gun at her. They were quiet for a few moments, staring each other down and circling each other- which was probably entertaining for the people watching on the cameras outside the Lazer gun maze.

Percy was about to pull the trigger when Annabeth straightened up, lowering her gun and put her hands in the air. "You know what? You can win."

Percy stared at her for a good minute before responding so gracefully. "What?"

"You can win. I beat you in the other games like mini golf and skee ball and-"

"I really don't wanna relive those moments." Percy joked as he lowered his gun and began to walk to her, his guard completely down. That's what you get when you think you know someone.

Annabeth walked up to him as well, giving such a distracting smile that his brain pretty much shut off completely. She wrapped her arms around his neck, leaning up to kiss him.

He closed his eyes, about to return the kiss when he realized that she wasn't kissing him. And like the seaweed brain he was, was very confused.

Suddenly it clicked. He felt something pushing on the back of his "armor" and a soft voice saying, "the administration appreciates your sacrifice." And the lights when out.

It was the first time he had ever lost.

And he totally didn't sit there for a few minutes pondering his life choices. Not at all.

Anddddd there you go. Super short but had the motivation so here's a random and hopefully funny story because when I saw this idea, I thought it was hilarious and could totally see them doing something like this.

Hope you enjoyed and as always, know how loved you are! Never forget that you have a Creator who loves you all the days of your life. :)
