"Wait, you did WHAT?"

Percy wasn't trying to get too deep into conversation, he just wanted his blue waffles. But no, when it came to sitting at the table for breakfast, Piper was not going to let him have that. He could see Annabeth trying her hardest not laugh, covering her mouth, and suppressing her giggles. Percy could feel his face getting red, but there was no way he was going to get out of this one. "Yeah, I jumped out of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, so sue me."

Jason just stared at him blank faced, Leo looked like he was in shock (no pun intended), and Piper couldn't help but continuously ask questions. "So, you're the Buzzfeed kid."

"I'm the what now?"

"Dude, you're the kid on Buzzfeed! You were being chased by the police all over the States, and Ryan and Shane did an Unsolved Mystery episode on you." Leo explained, trying not to smile. "We watched it at the boarding school we went to."

Percy looked over at Annabeth, who couldn't stop laughing. And then it hit him. "Did you know about this?"

Annabeth just smiled, but he knew. "I saw it once. On YouTube at my dad's house." She was trying her hardest not to laugh.

"And you didn't show me?" Percy said, looking in between of his friends. Frank and Hazel were sitting beside him, and Frank was trying his hardest to be supportive. Hazel probably didn't know what Buzzfeed was, but she started laughing too. Instead of saying anything, Annabeth just shrugged.

Percy huffed, crossing his arms. "So, what else did they say about me?"

"Just that you fell out of the Arch and disappeared. There's a bunch of theories of what happened, but there was a video some tourist got that went viral for a while. Then a bunch of conspiracies on who you were, and you were kind of a wanted kid at the time so many people thought it was you, but because you were so young, they couldn't get much information about you." Piper explained, starting to laugh a little bit. "But that sure didn't stop them."

---

Calypso just watched as her friends were laughing about some sort of joke she didn't understand. Something about Chipotle? She didn't know.

She had only been in the modern world for a little bit, so of course, Leo was taking her to see all of the sights. And the place he chose today? Mcdonalds. The poster fast food of America. She didn't understand the hype behind it and had a feeling it was why so many people were ridiculously unhealthy nowadays, but she smiled and went along with it.

The two met with Grover, Percy, and Annabeth, sitting at the Mcdonalds while Percy told them about the college letters he was trying to get. Before taking another bite of his burger, he asked, "Do you think you could write my letter?"

Calypso just stared at him. She thought about it for a second, but then at the shadowing reality that anything she said probably wasn't going to get him into any school. "No, like you said about your dad, it would be biased. And besides, they don't really like me all that much."

Percy sighed and nodded, eating more of his food. Calypso has a milkshake that she was dipping her fries in (a/n which is sooo good btw

"Doesn't Nico really like McDonald's? Grover asked, taking a bite of a veggie burger.

Calypso couldn't help but laugh. "No."

Percy just stated at her. "Uh yeah he does."

"No he doesn't." She replied.

"And how do you know that?" Percy challenged, giving her an unbelieving look.

"He told me." Calypso said, smirking as Percy continued to stare at her in disbelief.

"When?"

"Right now." A voice said from behind them. Low and behold, Nico appeared with Will by his side, holding a Mcflurry in his hands.

The two sat down, pulling up seats the join the rest of the group. "I thought you like McDonald's. We could've picked somewhere else."

"I like the milkshakes." Nico shrugged, leaning back in his chair, "The burgers suck."

Annabeth gave Calypso a look, trying her hardest to hold back her laugh as Percy stared at Nico. Leo snorted, choking on his fries, which made Nico laugh.

And soon the entire group were laughing like manaics, possibly getting weird looks from the people around them.

----

"You terrify me sometimes." Annabeth laughed as she glanced over at her boyfriend. He has both hands on the steering wheel, giving her that trouble maker grin he always gave her when he was up to no good.

The two were driving through Manhattan, which was by far the most congested and worse place to drive in on the entire planet. Much like every other New York driver. Percy was yelling and honking at every person who cut in front of him, which always made Annabeth laugh.

Percy was a pretty chill guy. But when it came to driving through the seats of New York City, he was a whole different breed of human beings. And the best part was that he only drove like this in Manhattan.

Just as they were turned on 39th street, a yellow taxi zoomed in front of them, causing Percy to swerve ever so slightly. "Hey! I'm driving here!" He shouted, in a thick,New York accent. pressing on the horn as he passed by the car.

All Annabeth could do was stare and laugh at her ridiculous boyfriend, who proceeded to glare at the taxi driver while passing by him before zooming down the street again. "You know you don't have to honk like that, right?" She said, shaking her head as he honked his horn yet again for another driver.

"Yes I do," he said as they turned down the street. "That's how everyone drives."

"Then I guess you've never driven in California," she replied, crossing her arms and she turned to look out her window at all thr bright lights of the city.

Percy smirked. "And I guess you've never driven anywhere." He said sarcastically, pulling off the road and parallel parking in front of a Five Guys.

Annabeth scoffed at him, smacking his shoulder, making him yelp. He Gabe her a sad look and rubbed his arm. "Don't look at me like that. You said I can't drive." She rolled her eyes, and he stuck his tongue out at him. "Seriously though, who taught you how to drive like this?"

"That's funny you should ask," Percy said, turning off the ignition and facing her. "My mother did."
