Her eyes widened as she walked down to the bottom of the apartment block, noticing a familiar car pulling into the parking lot. Her pace immediately picked up as she threw the rubbish that she had into the bin, heading back upstairs.
There were only a few minutes before Jiyong would be home as she let herself back into the apartment, hurrying around the place to make sure that everything was spotless, exactly as she wanted it to be able to impress Jiyong.

She made sure that the front door was shut so that she would be able to hear the key go in, passing by as she threw a few empty boxes into the spare bedroom of his apartment, leaving them to worry about once Jiyong had arrived home.
In just a few minutes, as she expected, the key went into the front door. She turned the main light off as she raced across to the front door to greet him, using the lamp just beside the door as her only source of light as the door opened.
"Welcome home," she smiled as she met Jiyong's eyes, taking a step to the side so that he could walk into his home. "How was your day at work?" She then asked him.
"Miserable," he scoffed in reply, throwing his bag to the floor. "It's only a week before Christmas and I'm still having to work on music, it's impossible for me to have fun."
She smiled sympathetically back across at Jiyong, wrapping her arm around his shoulders. "I have something that I think might be able to brighten up your day a little bit though."
For weeks Jiyong had been complaining about the lack of time he had. It was their first Christmas together, and still his apartment was without decoration, with most of his presents still to buy too, without even thinking of finding the time to visit his family in between.
"What's the one thing that you've wanted to do Jiyong?"
"Sleep," he laughed, watching on as her head shook back at him, the corners of your smile turning upwards too. "Alright, aside from sleep, I've really wanted to start feeling Christmassy."
Her head nodded as his answers began to fall more in line with what she wanted him to say. "Well, as I've had the day off today, I've decided to do just that for you."
"How can you do that when I've been at work all day Danielle?"
She unwrapped her arm from around his frame, walking across to just beside the front door, switching on the main light. Her eyes focused on Jiyong's face as his eyes lit up at how different the living room was. There were Christmas decorations everywhere, covering just about every surface in the room, just as she knew Jiyong wanted.
