A/N: I had a dream last night, but time is not running on my side so I need to make this quick....
Let's go!!!!!

The sun had long disappeared from the sky when Jisun sat down on her bed, pulling out her phone.
(A/N: She looks so pure and angelic.....)
All day, she'd been staring at it. Or, more specifically, at the contact name that she hadn't seen in ages that had suddenly appeared on the screen that morning with a text.
-How have you been?
It had been forever since she last talked to you, and the mixed feelings tangled in her stomach made it hard for her to reply. How could she? She'd be lying if she said she hadn't been thinking about you, but at the same time, there was still a raw pain in her heart from everything that had happened. Everything that hadn't happened.
With a sigh, she closed her eyes and pressed the phone to her chest, fighting the urge to cry. It had been so long, but she could still see your face, your smile, the worried look in your eyes whenever she pulled into herself like she was prone to do. The feelings that she'd held so long ago wove themselves into the tangled and sad rope in her heart, and the rope tugged, willing her to reply. She didn't know what she wanted. But she knew one thing. She couldn't just ignore you.
Her fingers tingled when she opened her eyes and typed out a reply.
-I've been alright. How about you?
She didn't want to see your reply. Didn't want to know. It was too much for one night, so she quickly shoved her phone away and fell back into bed, closing her eyes tight once again.
She wanted to say she'd think about it in the morning, but she knew that you'd appear in your dream again tonight, just like you always did. And she wouldn't be able to chase you away.

"Jisun, I think we should take a break. For both of us." Your words had stung, even if she'd known they were coming. Suddenly, the ice cream in front of her wasn't appetizing anymore, and she felt like she might be sick.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah." You had looked upset, unable to meet her eyes, but it wasn't enough for her. She'd wanted tears. She'd wanted you not to be able to leave her, even if she'd known this had been coming for a long time. "I mean, we've been drifting apart recently. You're in the public eye now, and I have my own job to worry about. And I feel like we've reached the end of what we can be. For right now, anyway."
"So you're dumping me?"
"Don't put it like that."
"That's what it is."
