I hesitated, gathering my courage. "Because... the truth is... I really like you, Felix. I always have. And I've been wanting to say it, but lately, love has been difficult. I didn't even know what to do... It took me a very long time to figure out which man I want to be with. But I decided... it's you. It's always been you..."
Felix's eyes widened in disbelief, a soft smile spreading across his face. He had never heard such beautiful words from me before. "I... I don't know what to say," he stammered, his voice barely audible.
"You don't have to say anything," I replied, taking a step closer. "I just wanted you to know."
Felix reached out and gently took my hand. "I... I like you too," he whispered, his voice barely above a whisper.
A wave of relief washed over me as I realized that my heart had finally found its home. With a trembling hand, I reached up and traced the soft lines of his jaw. He leaned in, his lips brushing against mine in a tender kiss.
