My heart was pounding in my chest when my group heard that we would be starring on a variety show with Vixx. We were so new and Vixx were legends. We had met them before, backstage at Music Bank and they were the nicest. But there was one member in particular who always stood out to me, Jaehwan.

His friendly demeanor and ways to brighten a room were amazing qualities and I envied and admired them. I might have even been crushing on him but I didn't know him well enough to know for certain.
But there we were, arms length from Vixx and the presentators. I stole quick glances at Jaehwan and looked away before the presentators could notice. I didn't know it but he was doing the same and silently being teased by Hyuk.
"Y/N, we hear you are a big fan of Vixx." The hosts said and I smiled. I was, Vixx was one of my favorite groups and rolemodels. "Yes, sir. I really love Vixx. They are very talented and attractive." I said and the men of Vixx bowed, saying thank you.
Jaehwan looked up at me a cracked a smile, which made me blush before turning back to the hosts. My ears were bright red, I could feel it and I had no idea what was going to happen today on this show. They were known for having crazy challenges and I was quaking in my sneakers.
"Aaah, a loving dongsaeng. Let's see if she if she is still so loving after this. Yasmin will have to do the pepero challenge with one of the members of Vixx. Vixx choose your player."
My heart dropped hearing his words and I felt like I couldn't breathe for a moment. Vixx had their backs turned and were whispering, deciding who would have to practically kiss me. They turned back around, sly smiles on everyone's faces.
"Vixx who do you choose?" The host asked them and N pushed Ken forwards slightly. "Ken!" My heart started racing and I looked back to my group members. They were looking at me with a surprised look on their face, shwoing they were equally as shocked as I was.
Ken and I moved towards eachother, we shook hands and he smiled warmly at me. The host handed me the pepero and I took a deep breath before placing it between my lips. Ken placed his hands behind his back, not wanting too touch me inappropriately on accident.
I watched him swallow the lump in his throat and waited for the sign to go. When the sign was given he got really close to my face. Moving closer and closer I could feel his breath on my lips. I shut my eyes, praying for it to be over quickly.
It wasn't like I wasn't enjoying it, I was. I just didn't want him to know that. His breath was hot on my lips and I could've swore our lips brushed for a second before the pepero broke.
I quickly took the remaining piece out of my mouth and felt my own cheeks. My heart was racing and I was bright red. Looking over at Ken, I noticed he was just as bright red.
"Did your lips touch?" The host asked and Ken nodded making me blush even more. "Let's measure how much is left." They took the small piece of pepero and measured it. Ken and I looked at eachother and he smiled again. He wasn't embarrassed, he was proud. I just couldn't tell.
"2 Centimeters!!!! That's a new record! Good job! On to the next challenge." The host said and we returned to our spots. I adjusted my clothes and refused to look at him again.
The rest of the show went by quickly and I didn't have to interact with Jaehwan again. We thanked the producers and all went back to the dressing rooms. My heart was thumping and the lead singer in our group patted my back.
"You guys kissed huh." She said and I shot her a look. "I want to crawl into a hole and never come out." I said, covering my face. "He was such a gentleman about it though." She said and I smiled. She was right and I shouldn't stress about what happened too much.
A knock on our dressing room door interupted our conversation. I stood up and opened the door, letting out an inaudible gasp and what I saw in front of me. Ken stood there, holding one rose in his hand and smile on his face.
"Ken oppa, What are you doing?" I asked, surprised and he laughed. "Can I maybe have a minute alone with you?" He asked, gesturing behind me. I turned around and saw my friends staring at the two of us. "Of course." I said, walking into the hall and shutting the door behind me.
"I only thought it was appropriate to give you something considering our lips touched not too long ago." He said, handing me the rose. I smiled and looked up at him. "That wasn't necessary, but thank you very much." Thinking he was finished, I started heading back into the dressing room when he caught my hand.
"I wanted to ask you something." He said and I cringed at my own actions. "I'm sorry, I thought you were finished." I said and he chuckled. "You're cute when you're awkward." My cheeks heated up again and I looked at him.
"I wanted to ask you on a coffee date." He added and I couldn't hide my smile. "I would love too." I said and he smiled. He pulled me into a hug and I burried my face into his neck. He smelled great, like cinnamon and his touch was gentle. "By the way, I have the feeling your friends are listening through the door." He said, pulling away. I laughed and looked at the shadows under the door. "They probably are."
