A/M: You gusy would not believe this when I tell you. I actually had a dream where we were moving somewhere..... it just felt so damn real.

Anyway, let's get started!

He took my hand, stepping out in the garden, showing the little setup he'd created for us both.

(A/N: The classic side eye.)

The sun was setting quickly, meaning his date night was about to begin, all he'd told us was to wrap up warm, and bring out a keen eye.

A blanket was in the middle of my garden, one of the old heaters I had was at the bottom, two thermal mugs were on the blanket, as well as his camera, and two pairs of binoculars. It was all beautiful, and the night sky that was creating around us both made for the perfect setting.

"I thought we could try something new tonight," he whispered into my ear, taking my hand to help me sit.

He sat down beside me, passing me one of the pairs of binoculars, "what are these for? What have you got planned for us?"

"I was thinking we could watch the stars, I've always wanted to stargaze properly, with company, and there's no one I'd want to do this more than you," he smiled, leaning across to press a sweet kiss to my cheek.

"This is so sweet," I replied back, "there's something so pretty about the sky at night that I've never quite understood, all the stars, and constellations."

It was a date night he'd had in his mind for quite some time, he'd spent the days before checking which day would be the best to stargaze, he wanted the sky to be as clear as possible to make sure the two of us could see things.

"I've got something else," he spoke, pulling out the book that he had in his back pocket, "it was my grandmother's, she loved constellations, so hopefully using her book we'll be able to identify a few of the patterns that we see tonight."

My hand rested over the book, it was tatty, and definitely not in pristine condition, but I could see how much it meant to Taehyung, and so it meant a lot to me too. I opened a few of the pages, smiling at how adorable the tiny pocketbook was.

"I've got my camera just in case we see something cool," he then pointed out, lifting it up to take a photo of you, "beautiful."

A crimson blush appeared on my cheeks, shaking my head at him as he looked at the snap he'd just taken. Not much could be seen from the dim lighting, but the twinkle I often had in my eye was very clear to see.

"I think we have to lay back and use the binoculars to see if we can find anything," he instructed, laying back on the blanket, "if you see something nice, give me a nudge."

I laid down beside him, resting one of my hands over his arm, I wasn't quite sure what it was I was supposed to be looking for, but seeing how excited Taehyung was about it all, I was excited to give it a try too.

"Are you warm enough?" He asked me, looking away from the sky to me. "I can run in and grab you one of my jumpers if you think you need it."

My head shook, the weather wasn't too cold just yet, I was more then content in the thin jumper I already wore, the blanket against my back was keeping me comfortable.

Light giggles of amazement continued to come from my side, whilst I struggled to figure out any constellations, he found a couple of constellations, grabbing his camera in order to take a couple of photos of them.

"These are looking beautiful, I can't wait to edit them properly," he smiled to himself.

"Let me have a look, I've not found anything yet."

He was happy to lean across with his camera, sliding through the few images that he'd found, pointing out to where the stars were to help me. He knew that stargazing was something I'd never tried before, but he appreciated the effort that I was going to in order to make his date night perfect.

"If you look really closely you might be able to see another planet, maybe some aliens," he teased, nudging against your arm lightly.

My eyes rolled, staring across at him, "you can't actually be serious? I might not be good yet, but I'm not that stupid to think I'll be seeing aliens."

"You never know," he continued to laugh, "we could be the ones to find it."

My head shook, sniggering, "sometimes I wonder what goes on in your head, it's a strange place."

The two of us laid out for a few more minutes, Taehyung continued to snap a few photos, whilst I spotted an interesting huddle of stars, taking a picture of it when he wasn't looking to be able to show off to him later.

"It's getting cold," he whispered eventually, breaking the enjoyable silence between the two of me, placing his binoculars down.

I sat up, reaching across for the mugs, passing one across to him. "It's been good fun though, maybe one day I'll learn enough about it all to know what I'm looking at, I enjoyed just looking at all of the stars though."

"My parents always told me it would be a romantic thing to do," he told me, wrapping his spare arm around you, "when I found the right person, they said that I should give it a try."

"And I was the right person?" I asked, smiling widely as he nodded his head in response. "I'm glad you feel that way, I really enjoyed tonight, I've really got to up my game for the next date night after this, you've really upped the expectation for our dates now."

He chuckled, pressing a kiss to the top of my head, he didn't often have the chance to be romantic and organise special date nights for the two of us with how busy he was, so when he did have the chance to do something nice, he wanted to make the most of it.

"I've got all sorts of pressures on my shoulders now, I don't think I'll quite be able to live up to all of this, so don't go expecting anything extraordinary from me."

"I won't," he smiled, "I don't care what we're doing or where we're going, I just enjoy spending time with you. I think we should head back indoors though and try and get warm, I'm excited to see how some of these photos turned out, if you are too."

"You take the camera, I'll grab everything else," I told him, standing up from the blanket, bundling it all into my arms in one quick sweep, chasing behind him.

The door flew open, he sprinted in running straight for the radiator whilst I tried to drop everything without any breakages. "Leave some room for me."

"Right here," he grinned with his arms wide open for you to walk into, pulling you closely into his chest, turning around so that my back rested against the heat.

"So, stargazing, did you enjoy it?" He asked, kissing the tip of my nose.

My head nodded, "it was amazing, thank you so much for introducing me to it."

"You're welcome jagi," he responded, "hopefully we can do it again sometime."
