A/N: I dreamt that I was in school in 2009 and Taylor swift was in it! The queen was walking one day with her long pagent crown and then something happened, which made her stop and smile.
She looked at us and said something which I can't remember, but anyway.... then we headed to a dance room and there's this dance teacher. We followed the choreography fine, but thenwe were giving a challenge that we're not sure to pull this off, but eventually we did! So that's a bonus!
"Something smells pretty good in here," a voice called out, taking me by surprise as I buried down in the back of the cupboard to put my pastry tin back.
My eyes went wide as I recognised Soobin's voice calling through, scrambling to shuffle back to get myhead out of the cupboard, not before clattering my head against the top of the cupboard though.
(A/N: Look how cute that is!)

The sound of my squeal quickly pulled Soobin's attention across to the kitchen, slipping his shoes off before exploring what all of the commotion was. As he approached the room, the smell got stronger, encouraging his smile to grow wider as he began to make sense of what was going on.
"I didn't realise I had my own personal chef," he smirked, standing in the doorway, letting go of a chuckle as he noticed me rubbing over the top of my head.
The pout on my face as I spun around to meet Soobin's eyes immediately let him know what I had done. He rushed around the kitchen counter, wrapping his arm around me and pressing a soft kiss to the spot that I had somehow managed to bump.
"This was supposed to be a surprise," I huffed, staring up at him as Soobin smiled back down to you. "I thought I would bake you something sweet, you need to keep your energy levels up when you're working so hard, dancing all day to try and perfect your comeback."
"I still don't know what's in that oven, so I guess that still makes it a surprise," he encouraged, trying his best to keep your spirits up, despite the lump forming at the top of my head.
Whilst wrapped in Soobin's hold, I leaned across and pressed down on my phone, checking how much longer was left on the timer. The majority of the kitchen was cleaned, with the exception of the mixing bowl that I had made your topping in.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"You want to lick the bowl?"
Soobin's eyes lit up as our minds thought alike, rushing over to grab two spoons out of the kitchen cupboard so that I could scoop up as much of the remaining topping as possible, getting a little taster of what he could expect coming out of the oven.
It was just a small bit of sweetness, but it was exactly what Soobin needed after his day. The boys had barely had any chance to eat throughout the day, Soobin couldn't wait to get home and eat anything, but coming home and seeing me hard at work and baking something that would be perfect for him was like the stuff of dreams.
"How does it taste?" I asked Soobin once the bowl was clear, taking it out of his hands so that I could place the bowl into the sink, "was it a good taster of things to come?"
Soobin's head immediately nodded back at me, reluctantly letting go of his spoon too, "if that was anything to go by, then I can't wait to see what that inside of there is all about."
"Well, you're not allowed to peak, it's a secret for now still."
Soobin held his hands up in defence as he took a step back from the oven, opting to enjoy the smell for a little while longer rather than ruin the surprise of looking in, even though he could make a good guess from the smells that filled the room.
"I hope you know that I've got high expectations," Soobin encouraged as I washed up the last of my baking equipment, "I've craved something sweet all day."
"I followed the recipe perfectly, there's no way that I could have gone wrong."
His head nodded, although Soobin knew that I had a habit of saying these things, only for something to go wrong. With so much excitement about what was baking in the oven, his biggest fear was something going wrong with it all.
"How long left?" Soobin pushed as his impatience grew, catching me as soon as I had finished washing everything up.
"Maybe a minute or two, the timer was low when I checked it a little while ago."
Soobin let go of a quiet sigh, "this just needs to hurry up now."
"You've not tasted them yet," I reminded him as I made m,y way over to check on the timer for myself, "they could taste horrendous."
"There's no chance, you've never ruined anything you've made before, right?"
My head shook, just as my phone began to vibrate, letting me know that the timer was done. Soobin quickly stepped back so that I could grab your oven gloves and make my way over to the oven, opening the door slightly to let go of the heat.
Once it was clear, I pulled the door down, reaching in to pull my dessert out, smiling in anticipation, only for that to drop as soon as I saw my creation.
"What is it?" Soobin questioned, peering over my shoulder as he tried to figure out what the sweet treat that I had made for him was supposed to be.
My eyebrows furrowed as I tried to figure out what was going on too, "it was supposed to be a Nutella cheesecake, but I don't understand why it's not looking that way."
"You know you said you followed the recipe perfectly, did you actually?"
"Of course," I frowned, placing it down on the cooling rack, "it's the filling that doesn't look right, but I did as it said, cream cheese and caster sugar, I just did as it asked."
From behind you, I heard Soobin snigger, glancing back as I noticed him shaking his head, struggling to keep himself together as laughter threatened to spill.
"You really think they'd make you put caster sugar in something like that?" Soobin asked me, "are you sure that it didn't say icing sugar?"
"I read the recipe three times, I'm sure of it."
I moved around the kitchen, grabbing my recipe book off of the shelf once again. I hurried through the pages, finding the page with the cheesecake on thanks to the bend in the page, searching through until I found what I was looking for.
"It says...icing sugar."
At last, the laughter spilled from Soobin, glancing between the recipe book, and what the cheesecake was supposed to be like, and what I had made too.
"Do you still have high expectations?" I joked with Soobin, feeling my cheeks turn a dark shade of red as I realised how much of a terrible mistake I had made.
"I think I preferred licking the bowl," he teased back across to me.
I closed the recipe book back up, letting go of a sigh as I glanced across at the bin, knowing that that was the only place for my cheesecake to go.
"I'm sorry that I wasn't quite able to give you the sweet treat that you were hoping for," I weakly smiled across to Soobin.
"You've given me something to laugh about, and I needed that just as much today," he assured, moving around to stand besideme.
"Maybe baking isn't a strength of mine," I acknowledged, feeling Soobin's arm wrap tightly around my waist.
"You tried; you can't be knocked for trying."
"I definitely don't think I'll try baking again anytime soon."
