A/N: Man, did I not had a na dventure last night. I dreamt about the tear gas explosion last night and me and my mom was in it and we were running away from it, but we got out of there super safe.

The sound of the front door opening was enough for my daughter to rise to her feet, charging through the house and colliding with Baekhyun as he walked into the house, kneeling down to greet her with a tight hug.

"Have you had a good day?" He instantly asked her, pressing several kisses to the side of her head, "did mummy treat you well?"
"The best day," she smiled back at him.
Baekhyun nodded, closing the door behind him before walking through to the living room to see you too. "And what about mummy? Did she have a good day?"
"I did indeed," I smiled, rising to my feet to greet Baekhyun with a quick kiss, unable to get too close as a result of how tightly my daughter held onto him.
After a few moments, Baekhyun sat her down in her seat so that he could grab himself a drink. "I'm sorry that I'm home so late, work just ran over."
"Just in time for bed," I teasingly whispered into his ear, knowing how much he hated the routine.
His head nodded all the same, grabbing a water bottle out of the fridge. "Hopefully, mummy has tired you out enough that you go straight to sleep tonight."
"No!" She yelled, raising her arms up into the air, staring straight across to Baekhyun, knowing that he was the parent that she could wear down the best. "I'm wide awake."
Baekhyun's head shook, tapping against the top of her head as he took a sip from the bottle, knowing just how much of a hard evening was ahead of him.
"Why don't you go upstairs and pick out a book for daddy to read to you?" I soon suggested, keen to get her routine moving as quickly as I could.
"Why?" She sighed, with a soft pout beginning to form on her face.
Baekhyun leant in towards her, tickling his hands gently against her hips. "I'll tell the tickle monster to come, and I know how much you hate that, right?"
Her head nodded, slowly sliding out of her chair, only to pause when she realised neither of you were following. Baekhyun stood up first, following behind her.
"Mummy! Come on! The tickle monster will get you!"
Somehow Baekhyun's plan seemed to work as soon enough my daughter had made her way up the stairs whilst Baekhyun waited for me to catch up. I began to head up first, leaving Baekhyun behind me, as always wanting to make sure that he was right there behind me just in case anything did happen.
