𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐒𝐄𝐘
For the past five years, I've managed to avoid him. I've managed to forget about him and move on from him. Mostly. Alex Lancaster and I have history, but nothing will ever change between us.
At least until he shows up at my dad's work...

I sit in the backseat of my car, staring out the tinted windows as my agent, Adalynn, sits in the seat beside me, her tablet in her lap. She runs over the different tours we're gonna have to go on, droning on and on.
Sometimes, I wonder when she'll shut up.
"Tell me the story of you and Miss Hayes." My head snaps to her.
"What?"
She rolls her eyes. "Tell me what you're going to tell the public."
"Shouldn't Lindsey be here for that?" I glance around, confused.
"I'm not worried about her right now. I'm worried about you. What are you going to tell the public when you announce you're in a relationship? This is going to affect your fans." She states.
I sigh, turning to the window. "We've known each other since high school, started dating, and now, here we are."
"Not good enough." She shakes her head.
"What do you mean 'not good enough'?" I glare at her.
"It needs to be more detailed." She sighs, turning back to her tablet. "We'll go over more once Miss Hayes is present."
"Just call her Lindsey."
"I will." She looks up at me. "Once she tells me to." I roll my eyes. She leans forward, telling my driver to head back to the studio. I slump in my seat with a sigh. I'm already so done with today.

"You'll never guess who I saw today." I state, reaching into the fridge and pulling out a coke as my band mates sit in front of the TV, pressing the buttons rapidly.
"Crazy fan?" Theo asks, half paying attention.
"A hot Latina?" Lucas asks.
"Dude." Theo smacks Lucas on the arm.
"What?" He asks innocently.
I roll my eyes as I sit down in the armchair, taking a drink. "I saw Lindsey."
Their heads turn to me, their hands freezing on the controllers. Theo narrows his eyes. "Lindsey as in highschool Lindsey?"
"Lindsey as in famous lawyer's daughter Lindsey?" Lucas adds. I nod.
"Oh, shit." Theo laughs incredulously, his fist to his mouth.
"No way." Lucas gasps. "How's she doing?"
"Well, she's still as stone-cold as she was back then." I retort, leaning back in my chair. She really was cold back then, no matter what I did. She always avoided me. If I sat at a table with her, she'd get up and leave.
"Yet you still managed to bag her." Theo comments.
Lucas smacks his chest. "Dude."
"What?" He asks, confused. "He did. At least until she ran off."
