Amy's POV
Soraya's been acting strange....and not the kind of normal strange.
It's been four weeks since I heard she went shopping with Rouge and Shadow, and It's been weird.
She's been hanging out with Team Shadow a lot.
I first thought she was just hanging out with Shadow and Rouge as a little shopping trip thing to start working on a truce with her rival but then I found out the day before she was spotted in her favorite coffee shop with all the members of Team Shadow.
Now she's been hanging out with them a lot more. Specifically Shadow.
Tangle said she saw them with Maria at a local drugstore, and she thought she heard Shadow ask about supplements or something?
Then Knuckles saw her with Midnight and Shadow leaving a small store on the west side of Mobius.
Then Vanilla saw just her and Shadow walking through sunset park in the afternoon.
And just yesterday, Espio saw her, Shadow, Rouge, and Maria at the office supplies store, and Soraya said she was just helping them look for some new file holders for all their paperwork at GUN.
And not to mention the sudden closet change.
I had gone over to Tails and Soraya's house to drop something off she had left at my place and Tails said I could just put it in her room.
When I got up there, her closet door was open and I couldn't help but notice that she had gotten rid of a ton of clothing and had lots of new stuff.
She also started wearing stuff that was more...boyish, I guess?
I have no idea what's going on with her but I'm gonna find out.
"So you all remember why I called this meeting?" I ask, looking at the people gathered at my table.
Blaze, Knuckles, Silver, Whisper, Tangle, Espio, Charmy, and Vector were all sitting or gathered around my kitchen table.
"Yeah, you called us all here to gossip about Soraya. Come on Ames, maybe she's just trying out some new stuff and actually getting along with Team Shadow?" Groaned Knuckles.
"You of all people now Soraya does stuff for more complicated reasons than that!" I hissed.
"Can't you just ask her what's up?" Asked Blaze.
"No, she's not that blatant, she'll only tell the truth if we figure out what's going on!" I said.
"Well, so why are we here?" Asked Tangle.
"You all are some of the people who have no idea what's going on with her, and I wanna figure it out. So I called the Chaotix to help solve it so we can confront Soraya about it. But I also want to hear your thoughts." I stated.
"Maybe she's becoming a drag king? And she wants Shadow's help because he's gay?" Asked Silver, leaning back in his chair.
"No, no, Shadow may be queer but he doesn't have as much of a complicated makeup sense to help Soraya with that..." Hummed Espio.
"We have a few theories, that may fit in." Said Vector. "One of them is her and Shadow are secretly dating but that one wouldn't work because he's gay and she's a girl, but then we thought up another thing. She could be trying to hang out with him to eventually impersonate him hence the boyish clothing!"
"I have another theory!" Said Charmy.
"Charmy the one you came up with just doesn't make sense!" Groaned Vector.
"But I think it works!" Charmy whined.
"You didn't tell me he came up with another one." Said Espio.
"Yeah, because the one he came up with doesn't make sense!" Argued Vector.
Whisper murmured something into Tangle's ear and she nodded.
"Yeah, got it. Hey, uhm, Whisper's askin' what's the theory he came up with?" Said Tangle, relaying the message.
"I am also interested, even if it far fetched anything could work." Said Blaze.
"Well, I thought, what if she's a closeted trans! And team shadow is helping her come out!" Exclaimed Charmy.
"See! It doesn't make sense! Why would she ask team Shadow for help if she were trans? Also she would told all of us first probably!" Vector stated.
"I mean, it could be sensible..." Mumbled Silver, who leaning far back in his chair.
"Okay. Anyone else have any other ideas?" I asked, placing my hands on the table.
"Ames, like I said before, just ask her what's up?" Stated Blaze.
"Blaze, I have a method to my madness, this will work." I said.
"Madness or not, I feel this is a bit excessive. Perhaps a bit stressful for you Amy, dear, since we are intruding on your home?" Blaze asked, suddenly holding onto my hand.
I could feel my face turn red but I shook it off.
"No, no, it's fine! I invited you guys anyways!" I answered quickly.
"Now, Vector's theory could be plausible about the identity theft, since Soraya does have some *ahem* darker personality, deep down. And if that's so we will need to confront her about it." I said, slightly shivering at remembering dark.
Dark Soraya was a memory that no one wanted to think of but she was something we couldn't forget.
She first showed up when we were in a fight and something had happened to Tails. Soraya freaked out thinking he was dead and Dark was released, going on a small rampage almost destroying half the city along with Eggman but luckily we got Tails to wake up and calm her down.
We haven't seen her since but there might be a chance where she comes back and none of us wanted to take it.
"So should we confront her about it?" Asked Tangle.
"I think we should. Tails is going on a small trip with Cream, Vanilla, and Maria tomorrow, so Soraya will be at the house by herself. Me, Blaze, and the Chaotix team will come and talk to her and Silver, Tangle, and Whisper will wait outside in case things possibly get messy. Knuckles I know you have a job to do with watching the Master Emerald so I'll let you do that." I said.
"Alright, so when do we meet up?" Asked Vector.
"Tomorrow at 10:00 am. Meet outside Soraya's and Tails's house." I said. "Meeting adjourned!"
Everyone started to leave but Blaze grasped my hand again before she left.
"Thank you for you hospitality, Rose." She said, with her polite smile.
I could feel myself blush again, and smile. "Aw it's nothing! You're welcome!"
She nodded then left, following after Silver.
I sighed then went back to the kitchen.
I picked up the framed photo off the counter of Me and Soraya.
"What are you hiding...."
