Shadow's POV
"Do you need ibuprofen? Does anything hurt?" I asked, looking at my boyfriend as he rested on the couch.
"No, I feel fine Shads, but I would like some water." Sonic said, pulling a blanket up to his chest.
"Got it, love." I said, walking to the kitchen to get him a glass of water.
I poured him a cup and came back with it.
"Here you go, Sonic."
"Thanks, Shads!"
He sipped his water and I sat down in the recliner next to the couch and turned on the tv.
The news was opened and playing what was now on.
The video that Sonic and Tails had posted spread like wildfire and now it seemed all of Mobius was debating whether it was fake or not or just some joke.
"Rumors spread about the hero formerly known as Soraya, now questionably identified as Sonic, had simply posted to video as a stunt. Other sources say that the video is real and our very own hero is actually trans!" Said the reporter on the TV.
The man then turned the mic over to the person next to him who was a female reporter. "What do you think about this sudden video post? Do you think it's actually a hoax or not?"He asked her.
"Well if I'm being honest I think it's real! We all know Sonic as our trustworthy hero so I believe that he's telling the truth! And good for him!" She said.
"See? That's the kinda people I like supporting me!" Sonic chirped, pointing at the TV.
I chuckled but then sighed staring at the TV. I didn't want him to get such huge backlash from it because of his gender, I was afraid that it would hurt him again just like Fiona did, however he has been growing more confidence with my support so I'm glad he's not as unhappy as he was before.
"Do you want me to make some food and turn on something more interesting than the news?" I asked with a smile.
"Yeah, yeah! Can we watch Howl's Moving Castle and eat chicken nuggets with mashed potatoes?" He asked with stars in his eyes.
"Specific are we?" I chuckled.
"I'm just craving it right now." He chuckled.
"Sure, anything for you, Babe." I said, giving him a peck on the lips before changing to a streaming channel and starting the movie for him.
I got up and walked to the kitchen to start cooking.
I had just put the chicken nuggets in the oven and started the mashed potatoes when the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it." I said, turning off the stove and walking to the door.
I opened it and was met with two mobians I'm pretty sure I've seen somewhere before.
One of them was a female short black mouse, and the other was a female light grey wolf with yellow eyes. Then I took note of their name-tags and suit-like outfits.
Ah, they're reporters
"Hello, is Sonic the Hedgehog here?" The mouse asked, her name-tag saying her name was Grace.
"Why do you ask?" I groaned, folding my arms.
"We're Reporters Grace and Jacklyn, and we're here to ask a few questions over the recent video Mr. Hedgehog posted." Said the wolf.
"And why do you think I would let you question him? Also who told you he was here?" I growled, growing slightly annoyed.
Why couldn't reporters just leave me and him alone? Why do they want his attention and words if he already came out to the entire world?
