Shadow's POV

We all stared at Sonic for a good minute.
It was so strange now. He had cut off his bangs and snipped his quills shorter, now he kinda looked like me except blue and pale skinned and his quills pointed downward.

"AHHHH! SONIC YOU LOOK SO GOOD!" Squealed Rouge, running up to him and pulling him into a tight hug.

"Thanks Rouge!" He chuckled.

"I do admit you look great, although now you look even more like me Faker." I said with a smirk, walking up and ruffling his newly cut quills.

"Yeah, yeah! I thought about what Knux said so I decided to do a little hairstyle change!" He chuckled.

"You look awesome, Sonic!" Said Tails, hugging Sonic.

I do admit, he looked a lot better, those bangs weren't very good.
Also he seemed a lot happier.
It's nice to know that this was all my doing, helping him.

Then again it's what I was made for.
To help people.
To help heal people.
I sometimes forgot that was the main reason I was created.
I was created to help Maria and help her through her illness. I guess now that since she didn't have her illness anymore, since it didn't come back after Silver and Blaze brought her back from the dead, I had focused in on helping Blue heal, mentally and physically.

"Hey I guess now I got competition for my good looks!" Laughed Knuckles, patting me and faker on the back, snapping me out of my deep thoughts.

"Don't worry Knuxie, you're always first for me." Giggled Rouge, kissing him on the cheek.

He turned redder than his quills and chuckled nervously, playing with the ringlets on his dreads.

"Man, I guess I'm the only guy with long quills now!" Sighed Silver.

"Yup, sorry Silv, they were just getting too long for me!" Laughed Sonic.

"It's nice that you cut off the white streak! It wasn't very flattering." Sighed Tails.

"Yeah, one less scar I gotta look at from those six months." Sonic said shivering.

"At least it wasn't as bad as your *ahem* back scar." I mumbled.

When Sonic came back from being a captive of Eggman and Infinite, he was beaten and bruised in lots of places and had gained a few scars, not to mention the multiple white quills from electric shocks. Everyone practically smothered him over it, however his worst one wasn't seen until we had taken back some of Mobius during the war. He had changed into one of his crop tops and Tails saw his back.
It was an ugly scar. One that reached the bottom of his neck and stopped at his tail, running in between his back quills.

Everyone freaked out over it, and started smothering him more than ever, minus the Rookie, who had to pull him away from me.
I will admit I also freaked out and got a bit overprotective, demanding to know who did it.

Now it's just an ugly permanent scar he's got.

"Ugh don't remind me of that." He groaned, shivering.

"Hey! How about we go show Amy and Blaze you're new style? I bet they would love it!" Said Rouge.

"Yeah you're right! Here I'll text em' and ask where they are." Said Sonic, picking up his phone and texting Amy.

I went to go sit back down on the couch, and Silver sat down next to me.

"You know, you're going awfully soft for him." He chuckled.

I looked at him like he was crazy.
