Shadow's POV
"ECLIPSE?!?" I snarled, jumping out of my chair.
There he was, the damned alien brother I have. He was wearing a suit as well. Why was he here?!? Why do I have to be related to Black Doom, and his weird ass family?!?
"Woah, Woah, Woah! No fighting, we're in public!" Said Maria, jumping to her feet and standing in between us.
"Maria, are you serious! He's-"
"He's Eclipse, your brother! And technically that makes him my brother too! And I don't want to see my two brothers fight!" Maria snapped back.
"Damn, this some crazy family drama." Commented Sonic.
"So you just brought him here?" I asked, ignoring my boyfriend's comment.
"Yes! And Tails was kinda in on this too, but that's unimportant!" Maria said. "I brought him because I wanna fix your guys's relationship! We three are literally family, so why don't we try and be nice to each other?"
"Because! He's tried to kill me!" I said, pointing at him.
"You also tried to kill me, Jackass!" He growled.
"I've been killed you two! Now, if you don't wanna know what it's like to be dead then I suggest you both sit down!" Shouted Maria, raising her voice in a threatening tone.
I had never actually experienced Maria's actual anger, so I sat down as soon as she spoke.
Eclipse followed and sat down in the empty chair next to her's.
She sighed and then sat. "Now, can we not fight at this party? I swear we can talk it out afterwards but for now let's just relax, and enjoy the newlyweds' party."
I groaned and nodded.
"By the way, your wedding ceremony was quite nice, I've never been to a earthling wedding before but I would say that was a nice experience." Eclipse said to Aleena and Bernadette.
"Thank you Eclipse." Said Aleena.
"Soooo, this is the Eclipse you mentioned?" Sonic said, looking over at me.
"Yes..." I groaned.
"Huh, I can see the resemblance actually..." Sonic hummed.
"You know sometimes I forget that you're also related to the guy who I've been fighting for years."
"Our last name is literally Robotnik, Sonic." I said.
"Yeah but you have a second one, and it's Doom, and yet you don't affiliate with our family one bit!" Huffed Eclipse.
"Maybe because I prefer to relate to the man who created me and my sister!" I hissed.
"Hey, no fightinggg..." Said Maria.
I rolled my eyes.
"So, Maria, Shadow, how is work for you two?" Asked Bernadette, clearly trying to break the tension.
"Fine, not too many cases recently." I hummed.
"Hey Moms, when is cake happening?" Asked Sonic, looking over at the two tier cake.
"Oh, we should probably serve that soon, how about now?" Asked Aleena.
"Yeah! Cake time!" Said Manic.
They got up and went to handle cake and I followed Sonic as he got up.
"Hey, Shads, do you think you and I could dance?" Sonic said, glancing over at the dance floor.
"Hm, perhaps, maybe during a slow song. Your sense of freestyle moves is a little too chaotic, and you're still healing from surgery." I chuckled.
"Oh yay! I just hope you ain't too bad at dancing, because ya boy Sonic is pretty good at slow dancing!" He chuckled.
