Sonic's POV

Alright tonight was the night of the party and I was ready.
Honey had texted the information and I forwarded it to Shadow who said he would pick me up.

It's been nice having him around to get me to places. I have a hard time keeping track of time and just time management in general, so him coming to pick me up has been helpful.
I buttoned up my shirt with a dragon print on it, and pulled on a pair of blue checkerboard print pants.

I looked in a mirror with a smile.

"Lookin good Sonicccc!" I said with a classic smirk.

"Sonic! Shadow's here!" Shouted Tails.

"Got it bud! I'm coming!" I shouted back.

I raced down the stairs, and Shadow was standing next to the door.

"Blue, good, I assume you're ready?" He asked.

"Yup! Lemme just grab my satchel."
I pulled my brown satchel off the coat holder, and adjusted the strap on my shoulder.

"Alright! Lego!" I said.

He opened the door and we walked outside.

His motorcycle was parked next to the house.

He got on first and then I climbed on. Shadow started the engine and we sped off. I loved motorcycle rides, it made me feel cool. Even though I wasn't the one driving it.

Soon we had arrived at the large warehouse like building. However it was growing darker in the day and you could see the colored lights flashing inside, reflecting onto the street.
The darkening ground was illuminated by a single nearby post lamp, where I recognized some of our friends were waiting.

I hopped off the bike once Shadow parked and we walked up to the group.
Amy and Blaze were there, holding hands and chatting. Rouge was talking to Knuckles, probably lecturing him on not getting drunk. And Honey was there next to, Gadget and Infinite!

The jackal was holding the wolf's hand tightly, glaring at the scenery around him. He still had bandages wrapped around his torso, but it looked a lot better from the last time I saw him. Gadget was talking to Honey about something, and then I noticed, Infinite's hetrochromatic eyes locked in on Shadow.

Oh that's right, they hated each other. A lot.

I know it wasn't right for Shadow to almost kill Infinite's gang, but it wasn't as bad as the hatred Caspi felt towards Shadow.

"Great. And just when I thought coming to this party couldn't get any worse." I heard Finn groan.

Gadget looked up and waved to us.
"Oh hey guys!" He exclaimed.

"Sonic! Shadow! You guys are here!" Said Honey, running up and hugging me.

Both the Jackal and the wolf then looked at me and Honey confused.

"Oh right they don't know yettt..." said Honey.

"It's okay Honey, Hey Finn, Hey Gadge!" I said walking up to them.
"So lil' update on life, I'm transmasc! I've been in the closet for a while and Shadow's helpin me come out, so yeah! I go by he/him and identify as male! And I go by Sonic!"

"Oh! Okay! That's great! I'm super happy for you!" Said Gadget, letting go of Infinite's hand and hugging me.

"Good for you, hedgehog. I'm not one to judge since one of my team members was bi-gender. So, you're not alone Sonic." Said Infinite, folding his arms.
