Sonic's POV

It's been three days since my moms' wedding and they've been sending us pictures of their trip to Paris.

"Shads! Have you ever been to Paris on one of your missions?" I asked.

Currently, he and I were snuggled on the couch, my head resting in his lap while he worked on something on his phone.

"Yeah, once I think. Didn't look around too much since that place is nothing but a walking tourist trap." He huffed.

"Aw come on Shad, it's not that bad! After all, Paris is the city of love~" I purred, pushing his arm down and wrapping my arms around his neck so he would pay attention to me and not his phone.

"Why would I need to visit the city of 'love' when I already have my love in my arms?" He sighed with a smile.

"True, now are you going to kiss your love or are you just gonna sit there and stare at me?" I chuckled, getting close to his face.

"I dunno, what do you think?" He chuckled, setting down his phone and placing his hands on my hips.

"I think I deserve a kiss from my hot emo Latino boyfriend~" I snickered, getting even closer to his face so I could smell his coffee tainted breath.

"You think you deserve everything..." He chuckled.

"And?" I purred.

"You do~"

He pressed his lips against mine and we kissed. This wasn't like our kiss when he asked me out though it was much more hotter and full of passion.
"Mm~Shadow~" I purred, letting my hands running into his quills.
"Oh Sonic~"

He then pressed me against the couch and it got much more heated. I felt his tongue lick my bottom lip, asking for entrance and I let him. We fought for dominance in our kiss, and I felt him run his hands along my body as we kissed.

It was as if the world around us didn't exist.
We pulled apart, staring into each other's eyes as we caught our breath.
Then he went down to my neck and started planting kisses on it.
"Ngh~ Shads~" I gasped.

"Don't worry, I won't take this too far." He whispered.

"Okay..." I murmured.

He continued to kiss my neck but our romantic moment was interrupted by Shadow's phone ringing.

His ringtone "I am all of me" started playing and he groaned.

"Just a minute, love." He said, kissing me on the forehead.

I sat up as he stood up to take his phone.

"Hey Maria." He said as he picked it up.

I fidgeted with my gold ring necklace as Shadow talked to his sister.

"Today? Now? But I don't want him around Sonic....fine, just if he does anything rash I won't hesitate to stick my foot up his- fine, I'm sorry. Just don't get your hopes up with this Mar."
He hung up then sighed, running his hands through his quills.

"Maria's coming over with Eclipse, she wants us to talk over his deal and whatnot."

"Hmm, sounds like that'll be something I shouldn't listen in on." I hummed.

"You can listen if you want, I just don't want you near Eclipse. He may seem friendly towards Maria but I know he wants me dead along with everyone else whose follows Black Doom. Well, that or he wants to make my life a living hell and hurt you to get revenge." Shadow said.
