Shadow's POV
"HA! I KNEW IT!" Exclaimed Rouge, slamming her hands against the desk.
"Shadow that's so sweet!" Squealed Maria.
"Saw it coming." Chuckled Midnight.
I just buried my red face in my arms.
I had just told my team about my crush on Sonic, and now I was more embarrassed than I was before.
"You should definitely tell him!" Said Maria, sliding next to me in her swivel chair.
"Do you know how hard it is to tell him? He's just so, so, AUGH! Every time I see him all I can think about is just being with him and I can't get my fucking mind off him even when he's not around!" I groaned.
"Hon, you gotta tell him sometime, or else this is just gonna bother you for the rest of your life." Rouge said, sitting down in her chair.
"Maybe get him a nice gift and confess to him? That's what I did with Trebs." Suggested Midnight.
Actually that reminded me of what I had been saving up for.
I had been saving money for a big gift for Sonic and now I had enough money to pay for it.
"I suppose, there is something I've been saving up for..." I hummed.
"Oooo what is it?" Asked Rouge, leaning into me.
"Uhm well it's...."
I leaned into her ear and whispered what I was wanting to get him.
Then she jumped back and squealed.
"That's perfect!"
"I know, I-I guess I should gift it to him sometime...." I mumbled, blushing slightly.
"Ooh and buy him flowers! Sonic's favorites are forget-me-nots! He also likes daisies and sunflowers!" Said Maria with a smile.
"Also wear something other than your work outfit." Said Midnight.
"What's wrong with this outfit?" I asked, arching an eyebrow.
"Less as classy, need something more nice." Said Omega who was listening to our conversation.
"See! Even Omega's helping!" Chuckled Rouge.
I glanced at my outfit I was wearing.
It was a normal one for me seeing as I wasn't always one to dress up. I wore my leather jacket with the GUN logo on the sleeve and my symbol on the other sleeve.
I wore my classic gloves and air shoes with a pair of either dark ripped jeans or tighter suit pants. Currently I was wearing jeans.
"Dress up, and invite Sonic to some nice place where you two can be alone~" Said Rouge. "And then you give him your gift and BAM!Confess! Then kissing, then marriage, yada, yada, yada, and the rest is history!"
"Rouge please take this seriously..." I groaned. This woman would be the death of me.
"You'll do great Shadow! And the worst he could say is no." Said Maria, patting me on the shoulder.
"He could say something so much worse than just no..." I sighed, leaning back in my chair.
"Feelings of anxiousness and sadness detected." Said Omega walking over to me, and patting me on the head.
"Thanks Omega." I said softly, knowing it was in his code to help.
"Shadow, you've got this hon. You're 'The Ultimate Lifeform'! Surely a being as ultimate as yourself, can ask out the fastest thing alive!" Rouge said.
