Chip & The Kids Of Station Square

After what happened in space, Sonic was now falling towards one of the continents of the planet. Suddenly, a mysterious white glow appeared on Sonic, slowing down his fall, before the glow vanished and the monster looking hedgehog made a crash landing on a street in the middle of a city. Once Sonic got up, he noticed what looked like a mix between a chihuahua and a fairy, and picked the little guy up to check on him. Sonic: "Hey?, are you okay?" asked Sonic, before the creature (voiced by Anthony Salerno) spoke a little bit while still being out cold. Chihuahua fairy: "Oh... no dear... don't let the darkness take control..." Sonic: "Pull yourself together!" called out Sonic, before the Chihuahua fairy woke up and got startled when he saw Sonic and tried to hide. Chihuahua fairy: "No please!, don't eat me!, I taste bad!" Sonic: "Hold on, I'm not gonna eat ya, I was just wondering if you're okay?" Chihuahua fairy: "Huh?, oh um... I'm just fine I think, thank you for asking Mr Monster guy." Sonic: "Huh?, Mr Monster guy?... [seeing his arms and body] whoa... looks like things have gotten pretty ugly..." Chihuahua fairy: "I hope you don't mind me asking... who are you?" Sonic: "Me?, I'm Sonic the Hedgehog, and you?" Chihuahua fairy: "Hmm... oh no!, I don't know!, I can't remember anything!" Sonic: "What?, you forgotten who you are?" Chihuahua fairy: "Seems like it... the last thing I remember was something falling from the sky, and then everything went all white... then something fell on me... after that nothing." Sonic: "Uh oh... I think I fell on ya... sorry." Chihuahua fairy: "That's okay, I'm sure you didn't mean to... but what were you doing in the sky, you don't look like you can fly like me." Sonic: "That's a long story I'm afraid... tell you what, how you stick with me for a while and I can help ya get your memory back." Chihuahua fairy: "Really?, thank you so much Sonic, you might look scary but you're actually a really nice guy." Sonic: "Thanks... I think..." that was when the pair heard screaming from a woman, who was scared by the sight of the hedgehog. Chihuahua fairy: "What could have scared here like that?" Sonic: "I think it was me... can't blame her... this look would scare anybody..." Chihuahua fairy: "Maybe... what do we do?" Sonic: "We better find a place where people can't see me." Chihuahua fairy: "Uh... people like them?" asked the Chihuahua fairy, before a group of cops came to the scene, ready to capture Sonic, who managed to dodge the cops and then grabs the chihuahua fairy before running off to who knows where. Sonic: "Hang on tight!" said Sonic, as he runs faster and faster, before he makes a Sonic boom that made him go off a bridge and was now in the sky again. Chihuahua fairy: "Whoa!, now I get why you're called Sonic the Hedgehog!" this made Sonic to smile, before he noticed there was a lake below him, and he and the Chihuahua fairy creature were both falling towards it. Near the lake was a boy, sitting on a log, looking at a fire place he made to keep warm. It was that moment when he saw Sonic and the chihuahua fairy creature fell from the sky and splashed into the water. Seeing that they were trouble, the boy jumped into the lake and rescued them just in the nick of time. Once Sonic and the chihuahua creature took some breaths, they see the boy, named Chris (voiced by Veronica Taylor) looking at them. Sonic: "You saved us... thanks." Chris: "Whoa... did you just talked to me?" Sonic: "Yeah, what's the matter, never met a talking hedgehog before?" Chris: "Hedgehog?, is that what you are?, you look more like a wolf than a hedgehog." Sonic: "Yeah... I guess I do look odd... well you see I'm a Mobian hedgehog, a type of mutant that Dr Kintobor created." Chris: "A mutant... like Frankenstein?" Sonic: "Who?" Chris: "Uh... never mind... my name is Chris Thorndyke... do you have a name?" Sonic: "Yeah, my name is Sonic the Hedgehog." Chris: "And him?" asked Chris, looking at the chihuahua fairy like creature. Sonic: "He has no memory of what his name is, or anything for that matter, which is why I gotta help him get it back." Chris: "Wow, that's awfully nice of ya." Sonic: "Well I think it was kinda my fault he lost them as I might have fallen on him by accident, so I have to do something to make it up, say uh... what are you doing out here alone?" Chris: "Well... I ran away from the orphanage not too long ago... as the people there always treated me badly... as to where I'm going now... no idea..." Sonic: "Orphanage?, as in the place where kids go if they have no families?" Chris: "That's right." Chihuahua fairy: "Poor kid... don't you have any friends to help ya?" Chris: "No... not one... I'm all alone..." Sonic: "Hey Chris, tell you what, how about you stick with me for a bit, I'm sure we can find a place for you." Chris: "Really?, thanks." Sonic: "No problem, besides I need someone for a guide around here." Chris: "Sounds like a fair deal." said Chris, before the sun began to rise, and when that happened, Sonic started to glow and changed back to his normal Mobian form, much to the group's surprise. Chihuahua fairy: "Whoa... that was amazing!" Chris: "What just happened?" Sonic: "I don't know... but it looks like I'm back to my normal form." Chihuahua fairy: "So this is what you usually look like?" Sonic: "Yeah, this is the real me, pretty cool huh?" Chris: "Yeah, though your other form was pretty cool too." Sonic: "Thanks I guess... so where are we?" Chris: "Right now?, we're at the edge of the forest that's next to the city of Station Square." Sonic: "Hmm... somehow that name sounds familiar..." Chris: "Come on, I'll show you around." Sonic: "Sweet." said Sonic, before he and the Chihuahua fairy like creature follow Chris into the city. An hour later, taking advice from Chris, Sonic was wearing some clothes to hide his animal features, so people wouldn't noticed him as much. Chris: "You know... Station Square was the home of many brilliant people long ago, like Professor Pickle for example, or my late grandpa Chuck for example." Sonic: "Cool, I wonder Kintobor was one of them..." Chris: "I don't know... I never even heard of him before you came." Sonic: "Well I guess not many know him due to living on a floating island for 50 years..." Chris: "Hold on... a floating island?!, how is that possible?" Sonic: "Through the power of the Master emerald, a gem that can turn thoughts into reality." Chihuahua fairy: "Whoa... sounds pretty powerful to me..." Chris: "Yeah... are there other gems like it?" Sonic: "Yeah, the Chaos emeralds... or at least they used to be powerful... but thanks to my old enemy Eggman, the power of the emeralds were drained, and now they're powerless..." said Sonic, showing the pair the now colorless and powerless emeralds. Chris: "Whoa... and this cannon this Eggman used caused the planet to break?" Sonic: "Yeah." Chris: "I kinda thought it was an earthquake... but the planet broken apart...?, that's insane..." Sonic: "Yeah... but at least nobody got hurt, right?" Chris: "I sure hope so... hey... where did he go?" Sonic: "Who?" Chris: "That little Chihuahua fairy guy." said Chris, before he and Sonic noticed the little Chihuahua was looking at a big ice cream sundae, and was looking hungry too. Knowing that the little guy needed food, Chris uses some of his savings to buy the ice cream himself, Sonic and the little chihuahua fairy creature. Sonic: "Wow, this ice cream sundae is amazing." Chihuahua fairy: "Yeah, especially the chocolate chip." Sonic: "Can't argue with that, Chip." Chihuahua: "Huh?... Chip?" Sonic: "Yeah, gotta call ya something, right?" Chip: "Yeah... Chip, I love that name." Chris: "Me too, it sounds perfect for ya." suddenly, after finishing their ice cream, Sonic smelled something in the air, and so did Chip. Sonic: "Hey... do you smell smoke?" Chip: "Yeah... somebody must be cooking something." Sonic: "No... it's not the cooking kind of smoke smell... it's a burning smell I haven't smelled since... a fire!" gasped Sonic, before the group heard the sound of a girl screaming for help, and the trio rushed to find the source. Soon enough, they see that there was a fire going on at a building, and some firemen were doing their best to put it out. Chris: "Wait... I know this place... this is the orphanage I ran away from!" That was when Sonic sees a girl screaming waving her hands at the opened window. Chip: "Oh no!, that girl is in trouble!" Sonic: "I got this!" said Sonic, before he rushed into the building, and zoomed up the stairs until he broke down the door where he finds the girl, named Helen (voiced by Amy Birnbaum) coughing. Helen: "W-who are you?" Sonic: "I'm Sonic, and don't worry, I'm gonna get you out of here." Helen: "We can't use the stairs, not while in this wheelchair." said Helen, showing Sonic that she was a girl on a wheelchair. Sonic: "Then I'll carry ya, and don't worry, I won't drop ya." said Sonic, before he carries Helen in her arms and zooms out of the building just in the nick of time, before zooming back inside to get the girl's wheelchair. Chip: "Nice work Sonic, is the girl okay?" Sonic: "I think so." Helen: "Yeah... I'm okay... thank you..." said Helen, before she noticed that Chris was looking at her, blushing a little before trying to look away. Chip: "What's your name?" Helen: "My name is Helen, and you?" Chip: "Well I can't remember my real name, but Sonic calls me Chip." Helen: "That's a cute name, and the boy?" Chip: "Oh him?, that's Chris, he's our guide here." Chris: "Yeah... um... I hope you don't me asking... but what happened here?" Helen: "Well... last night there was a mighty earthquake that caused some of the buildings here to fall down, and parts of the orphanage too, everyone inside left... except for me of course... as I got left behind... then some electric cables caught on fire and... well I'm sure you can guess the rest..." Sonic: "Oh man... poor kid..." Chris: "So did you only come to the orphanage yesterday?, cause I never seen you before." Helen: "Yeah, I take it that you were in the Orphanage too?" Chris: "Yeah... but I ran away as the people there didn't treated me nicely..." Helen: "Yeah... me neither, even the other kids made fun of me because I have a disorder that makes me use this wheelchair to move around..." Chris: "I'm sorry to hear that... I guess we're both orphans that don't have friends or families..." Helen: "Yeah..." Sonic: "That's not true, you got me and Chip here." Chip: "Yeah, we're your friends, right?" asked Chip, before Helen and Chris smiled. Helen: "Yeah... I guess you're right." Chris: "Uh huh..." said the kids, before they noticed the people cheering for Sonic, most likely for his heroics of saving Helen from the burning building, which made the Mobian hedgehog to smile.
