Epilogue

After defeating Dark Gaia and returning her to the good side, Sonic and his friends returned to Angel island, where they showed Dark Gaia their home, and taking her to her Chao children, who were very happy to be reunited with their mother, along with their father Chip as well. Robotnik land was demolished after Robotnik's arrest, due to having it created without a permit and was messing with the environment too. Topaz became the new commander of G.U.N., which she was very proud of now, while Professor Pickle returned to his lab to continue teaching the students in the Station Square university. As for Dr Robotnik and Jerome, they were both now in jail, where they'll stay for life. Dr Robotnik: "I can't believe this... beaten again by those stupid Mobians..." Jerome: "I shouldn't have got mixed up with an idiot like you, now I'm stuck here till I die!" Dr Robotnik: "Oh quit whining, at least you'll remain young, I'm gonna grow older and older until I meet my end." that was when Orbot and Cubot came to the scene. Orbot: "Well least you still have us to keep you company." Cubot: "Yeah, talking about how we got our butts kicked by Sonic and his friends over the years, failing on world domination and having your dream theme park to be destroyed in the end, and stupidly telling Shadow that you were gonna destroy him in end, along with..." Dr Robotnik: "SHUT UP!" shouted Dr Robotnik, before he tried to kick both Orbot and Cubot, only to miss and fall down, making both the robots laugh. Back on Angel island, Dr Kintobor called everyone to the lab for a meeting. Dr Kintobor: "I called you all here cause I have an important announcement... you see... as you know, unlike you lot, I won't be around forever, and after what happened with Jerome, I'm not planning to use the Project Shadow to make myself immortal." Helen: "I guess that makes sense... the secrets of immortality have caused a lot of trouble." Dr Kintobor: "Yes, but because of that, I won't be around forever, and I want to make sure that the Mobians and the animals here are always taken well cared for... what I'm trying to say is that I decided to make young Chris Thorndyke here my successor of the island's guardian." Chris: "Wha... me?, really sir?" Dr Kintobor: "Of course, you shown to have a big heart, and became very close with the Mobians and animals... plus an orphan needs a home, which is why I'm choosing you, and don't worry, you'll have the Mobians to help you, and Helen as well." Helen: "He's right, I'll be here for you too, as we orphans have to stick together." Chris: "Thanks..." said Chris, before he and Helen went to hug each other. Dr Kintobor: "As for you Shadow, I believe it's time I show you the world that Maria always wanted to see." Shadow: "Thank you Julian... really." Charmy: "Hey Cosmo... I hope you don't mind me asking... but would you... um... go out with me tonight?" Cosmo: "Are you asking me on a date?" Charmy: "Um... maybe..." Cosmo: "Sure, I would love that." said Cosmo, before she kisses the bee on the nose, making him blush. Sticks: "A bug and a plant... interesting pair." Knuckles: "I guess..." Sticks: "Say uh... you don't suppose that um... we could hang out some time tonight, right?" Knuckles: "Well... not like I got anything else to do, sure." said Knuckles, making Sticks to smile. Cream: "You know Tails, if you like, I could hang out with you some time too." Tails: "Really?" Cream: "Sure, and I'm sure Cheese will like that too." Cheese: "Chao, Chao." Tails: "Yeah, I like that." said Tails, before Cream gave the fox a kiss on the nose, which made him blush a little. Amy: "Wow... looks like some of us have a lover... which reminds me... hey Sonic... now that the world is safe again... maybe you and I could..." Sonic: "Well... I guess it's time we date, just try not to overdo it." Amy: "Oh yes Sonic!, thank you so much!, I promise to give you the best date ever!" said Amy in joy, before she gives Sonic a big hug and a kiss, which made the blue hedgehog to blush. Chip: "Wow... Sonic is so lucky to have someone like Amy." Dark Gaia: "Yeah... they kinda remind me of ourselves when we were young long ago..." Chip: "Yeah... they sure do..." said Chip, before Dark Gaia gives Chip a big hug, which made him blush a little bit. Sometime later, Dr Kintobor travels the world with Shadow, showing the black hedgehog the wonders of the planet, like the sights, the animals and the people too. A few weeks later, the Mobians of Angel island were playing with the Chao, and both Chris and Helen were enjoying playing with them too. However, their fun wasn't able to last, as Orbot and Cubot came to the scene. Cubot: "Hiya~." Orbot: "We bring you a message from Dr Robotnik." said the two robots, before Orbot presses a button on the side of his head to show a hologram of the mad doctor himself. Dr Robotnik: "Greetings Sonic, I'm sure you're wondering why I'm giving you a message." Sonic: "Not really." Dr Robotnik: "Well you should, as I have just escaped from that accursed prison you threw me in a while ago, and now I'm ready to restart my plans for world domination, and if you want to stop me... come and get me, if you can... Ah, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho!" laughed the evil doctor, before the hologram was gone due to the message ending. Orbot: "Well it was nice seeing you all again, but we better leave." Cubot: "Really?, but we just got here." Orbot: "Come on Cubot, it's time to go." said Orbot, before he takes Cubot away and both flew away from the scene due to having rocket thrusters underneath their boxed and round shaped lower halves. Knuckles: "So that's how they got here alone..." Chip: "Oh man... not Eggman again..." Dark Gaia: "You would think he would have quit after what happened a few weeks ago..." Tails: "Well... here we go again." said Tails with a smile. Sonic: "Yup, and I wouldn't have it any other way." said Sonic, before he zooms off to his next battle against the evil doctor, with his friends following behind him.
