Amy & Metal Sonic's Origin

In Dr Robotnik's secret lab, the mad doctor was building some kind of robot that looked like Sonic, before placing Sonic's quill into it, which had it's Chaos energy coursing through the robot as it's power source. Dr Robotnik: "Yes... this could be my greatest invention yet... alright Sonic, let's see how you'll handle this robot... ah, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.... Ha, Ho, Ho, Ho, Ho, Ho, Ho!" said Robotnik with an evil laugh. Back on Angel island, Sonic and Tails were watching Knuckles punching on a sandbag, practicing his punches. Dr Kintobor: "Remember Knuckles, you need to control your temper, otherwise you'll let your guard down and allow the enemy to make a hit." Knuckles: "Got it... understood." Sonic: "Are you sure?, cause you still have a temper." Knuckles: "Why you...." Dr Kintobor: "Knuckles please, remember what I said, try to keep calm, and Sonic, don't start a fight with Knuckles again." Sonic: "Hey, Knucklehead was the one who started it." Knuckles: "I was tricked!, give me a break!" Tails: "Sonic, stop picking on Knuckles, it wasn't his fault that Eggman tricked him, I mean he's pretty tricky." Dr Kintobor: "Indeed, he was known to be a master of deception... I should know..." Knuckles: "I find it hard to believe that you had an evil twin and never mentioned it before." Dr Kintobor: "Well I didn't like to talk about my family due to bringing back bad memories, and I had to move forward for their sake, not to mention my twin was not someone I like to talk about either." Sonic: "Can't blame ya, I hate to think the idea of having someone like Eggman for a sibling." Dr Robotnik: "Yes... and I highly doubt he could get a girl as well." Tail: "Girl?, you mean a female?" Dr Kintobor: "That's right, though I guess you might not get a girl as there were never any female Mobians... other than Tikal of course." Knuckles: "Yeah... she was the only female Mobian I knew... and she's gone..." said Knuckles as he looked down in sadness, before the good doctor patted him on the shoulder for comfort. Dr Kintobor: "I know... I miss her too..." Tails: "Was she really that great?" Knuckles: "Yes... she was... if only I was able to protect her... but I failed... curse those people of G.U.N., trying to steal the Chaos emeralds for their own greed for power... they call themselves guardians... yet they weren't protecting anyone..." Dr Kintobor: "Well let's not forget that my brother tipped them off about the emeralds and said some lies to convince them to attack." Tails: "Hey... that got me thinking... there hasn't been an attack from them since we came around... why's that?" Dr Kintobor: "Hmm... that's a good question... perhaps Ivo has convinced them that he should handle on getting the emeralds himself so that no more soldiers could be killed like what happened the last time they were here." Sonic: "Speaking of Eggman, you think he'll be back?" Dr Kintobor: "I wouldn't be surprised if he would." suddenly, the sound of a plane crashing to the ground was head as the ground shook up a little, before the good doctor and Mobian trio went outside to see that there was a destroyed plane nearby, much to their surprise. Tails: "Whoa!... is that a plane?, it's huge!" Dr Kintobor: "It's a jumbo... but never mind that, hurry boys, we need to search for survivors quick!" Sonic: "You got it." soon, the group went to check the insides of the plane, searching for any survivors, but so far, no sign of life. Tails: "Oh man... this is awful... all these poor people... what could have happened here?" Dr Kintobor: "I don't know... could have been an accident... you know... this reminds me of the story of how my grandfather discovered Angel island." Knuckles: "Oh yeah... Tikal told me that story too, how he was the only survivor of a plane crash..." Dr Kintobor: "Yes... but it seems that there were no survivors..." that was when they heard the sound of someone grunting, and that a hand was moving, alerting them that someone had indeed survived, but for how long, they had no idea. Sonic took some junk off and sees that the survivor was a little girl, 11 or 12 years old by the looks of it. Soon the group took the girl to the lab to help her heal, but the good doctor looked down in sadness. Sonic: "Any luck?" Dr Kintobor: "I'm afraid not... this little girl's injuries are... fatal..." Tails: "No... she can't die... it's not fair..." Dr Kintobor: "I'm sorry Tails... but there's nothing I can do..." Knuckles: "No!, we won't allow this girl to die, I already failed my tribe, I can't let it happen again!" Dr Kintobor: "But Knuckles, it would take a miracle to save her now." Sonic: "Wait... what about the machine you used to create me, Tails and Knuckles?" Tails: "Hey... that's a great idea!" Knuckles: "You mean the device that's powered by the Chaos emeralds that turned us into Mobians like my tribe?" Sonic: "Yeah." Dr Kintobor: "I don't know Sonic... using it on animals is one thing... but it's never been used on a human before... I don't even know if it would work." Sonic: "Well we gotta try something, and it could save her." Dr Kintobor: "Well... I guess it's worth a try... and it's what my grandfather attempted to use the device for in the first place..." said the good doctor, before he placed the girl into the fusion chamber, and sets the laser above it, before pulling the switch, and the laser, powered by the Chaos emeralds, fired a beam of Chaos energy, which begins to be absorbed into the girl's body. Slowly but surely, the wounds began to heal, but the girl's body began to change as well, as her skin began to be covered in pink fur and pink quills, starting to look like a pink female version of Sonic. Once the laser was turned off, the fusion chamber was opened, showing the group the girl's transformation. Tails: "Whoa... what happened to her?" Dr Kintobor: "Hmm... it's just a theory... but inside every human, there's a dormant gene that ties them to their animal ancestors... it's as if the Chaos emeralds have awakened it and made it evolve to the kind of a Mobian... in other words, it transforms humans into Mobians just like it does for animals..." Tails: "Whoa..." Knuckles: "Is she still alive?" Dr Kintobor: "Well... her injuries are gone, that's a good sign." Sonic: "Hey guys... I think she's waking up." said Sonic, before the little girl, who is named Amy Rose (voiced by Lisa Ortiz) starts to wake up and lifted her head while rubbing it with her hand. Amy: "Ow... my head... where am I?" Dr Kintobor: "You're in my lab, are you feeling okay?" Amy: "Huh?, yeah I think so... but I feel kinda funny... and a little dizzy..." said Amy, before she sees Knuckles and Tails, which made her scream in shock and fear, startling both the Mobians. Tails: "Whoa!, calm down, we're not gonna harm ya, honest!" Amy: "W-who are you?, and what are you?" Tails: "I'm Tails, and this is Knuckles, we're both Mobians." Amy: "Mobians?" Dr Kintobor: "Special anthropomorphic creatures you can only find here, don't worry, they're friendly, and is Sonic." Amy: "Sonic?, who's that?" Sonic: "That's me." said Sonic, revealing himself to the girl, who couldn't help but stare at him. Amy: "So... you're a Mobian too?" Sonic: "Yup, and the fastest and coolest one you can find." Amy: "Hey... I can't help but noticed that you look a little like a porcupine." Sonic: "Actually I'm a Mobian hedgehog, while Tails is a Mobian fox and Knuckles is a Mobian echidna." Knuckles: "And you as another Mobian hedgehog." Amy: "What are you talking about?" Knuckles: "Try looking at a mirror." said Knuckles, before Amy slaps him on the face. Amy: "Rude!" Knuckles: "What did I do?!" Dr Kintobor: "Sorry about that, he didn't mean any offense, what he meant to say was that um... you're not a human anymore." Amy: "Huh?" said Amy, before tails went to pick up a mirror and showed it to Amy, who sees her reflection and paused for a moment to realized that the pink Mobian hedgehog was her, making her scream some more. Sonic: "Boy... girls sure like to scream..." Amy: "Is that... me...?" Dr Kintobor: "Well... yeah, we used the device that created Sonic and the other Mobians here to heal your fatal injuries, I never imagined that it would do this." Amy: "I look... so... adorable!" said Amy with star eyes, making everyone in the room to fall down anime style. Tails: "You like it?" Amy: "Yeah, I mean I look so adorable now, and hedgehogs were my favorite animals, I always wondered what it would like to be one... though I never thought I could look so cute as one." Sonic: "And I'll bet you got special powers too." Amy: "Special powers?" Dr Kintobor: "Yes, each Mobian have their own abilities... meaning you could have some too." Amy: "Really?... hmm... what tricks can you do?" Sonic: "Well I can run faster than the speed of sound." Tails: "I can fly by twirling my namesakes like a helicopter." Knuckles: "And I have super strength." Amy: "Wow, sounds like you guys got special powers... wonder what mine is..." suddenly, something blasted the door down, and everyone turned around to see what looked like Sonic, only made of metal. Sonic: "What the..." Tails: "It's a robot that looks like Sonic!" Dr Kintobor: "I have an idea where it came from..." said the good doctor, before an evil laugh was heard, and Dr Robotnik came to the scene. Dr Robotnik: "Sharp as ever dear brother... allow me to show you my latest and greatest invention yet... the Metal Sonic." Tails: "Metal..." Sonic: "You built a robot version of me, how flattering, but I doubt it'll do any good against me." Dr Robotnik: "Don't be too sure Sonic, for you see, Metal Sonic is powered by one of your quills, which I got after our last battle, meaning that Metal here can move just as fast as you do." Amy: "Uh... who are you?" Dr Robotnik: "Ah... a new player... allow me to introduce myself, my name is Dr Ivo Robotnik, greatest mind in the world, and soon to be ruler of the world, once I get rid of Sonic and the other Mobians here and capture the Chaos emeralds of course." Sonic: "Not a chance Eggman." Dr Robotnik: "I told you not to call me that!, it's Robotnik!" Knuckles: "Whatever your name is, we won't let you have the Chaos emeralds or the Master emerald!" Dr Robotnik: "You know... I was hoping you were gonna say, otherwise I would have brought Metal Sonic here for nothing... speaking of which... go get them Metal." ordered Robotnik, before the robot went to zoom towards the group, knocking them all over with just one attack. Sonic tries to outrun the robot, but it was able to catch up with ease, much to Sonic's surprise. Tails: "Oh man... this is bad..." Knuckles: "Yeah, I never seen a robot that can catch up with Sonic before..." Dr Kintobor: "Well Ivo did say it was powered by Sonic's quill, which it alone contains a lot of limitless Chaos energy..." said the good doctor, as Sonic continues fighting Metal. It wasn't long before the Metal Sonic punches Sonic into a wall, much to everyone's shock while Dr Robotnik had an evil smile. Dr Robotnik: "Yes!, finish him off!" ordered Robotnik, before Metal Sonic zooms in for the final blow. Unable to bare seeing Sonic getting hurt any longer, Amy rushes in and that was when a large hammer appeared in her hand and swings it to knock the robot away from Sonic, who was surprised by what Amy just did. Amy: "Leave him alone you metal creep!" Sonic: "Whoa... thanks, but where did you get the hammer?" Amy: "Huh?... whoa... where did I get this?" Dr Kintobor: "I think that must be your new power, you can summon a hammer to fight back." Amy: "Really?... awesome!" Dr Robotnik: "So Sonic, you're letting your girlfriend do your fights now." hearing this made Sonic gasp in shock while blushing. Sonic: "Whoa wait a second!, I only just met her today!, plus I don't think I'm her type." said Sonic while rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment, which made Amy giggled as she finds it adorable. Dr Robotnik: "Alright then... guess that means you won't mind if Metal takes her out of the picture... Metal, take care of that pink brat first." ordered Robotnik, before Metal grabs Amy and launches up into the sky, while the girl screamed in fear, before she used her hammer to knock the robot down to the ground, damaging it enough to lose the ability to move any longer, much to Robotnik's dismay. It wasn't long before Amy realized that she was falling, and begins screaming in terror, until Sonic manged to catch and save her just in the nick of time. When Amy opened her eyes, she realized that she was being carried in Sonic's arms, causing her to blush a little. Sonic: "You okay Pinky?" Amy: "Huh?, yeah... but my name's not Pinky... it's Amy Rose." Sonic: "Amy huh?, I like that name." said Sonic, while Amy blush and smiled at her savoir. Dr Robotnik: "You won this round hedgehogs, but I'll be back!" shouted the mad doctor, before he picks up the damaged Metal Sonic and ran off from the scene. Later that day, after learning that she was the only survivor on the plane crash, Amy was sitting on a chair looking really sad, and it wasn't long before Sonic, Tails and Knuckles came over in hopes to cheer her up. Sonic: "Hey Amy... you okay?" Amy: "Not really... those poor people... even if they were strangers to me... they didn't deserve such a fate..." Tails: "What about parents?" Amy: "They weren't on the plane... I stowed myself away in the cargo in order to escape from the orphanage that treated me badly all because I can read tarot cards..." Knuckles: "What are those?" Amy: "Well... they're special cards I use to tell me what events of the future hold for myself or others... and now that I think about it... the cards showed me that I would find my love on an island in the sky... which didn't made sense at the time, but it's what convinced me to go into that plane... and after what happened here... I think I found my love... which is you Sonic." said Amy while blushing, which made Sonic took a few steps back in shock. Sonic: "Wait... me?" Amy: "Of course, you managed to save me right after I saved you from that robot, you were the first boy who's ever been nice to me and we're both Mobian hedgehogs now, which means it must be destiny!" said Amy, before she gives Sonic a hug, while Tails and Knuckles tried their best not to laugh. Sonic: "Look Amy, I'm flattered that you want to be my girlfriend, but come on, we just met and I don't know you well enough." Amy: "Oh my gosh!, you're right... sorry... it's just that I've been looking for someone to love me for a long time... and after meeting you... I got a little excited and all..." Sonic: "That's okay Amy, just try to take one step at a time... and who knows, maybe you can be my girlfriend." Amy: "Really?!, oh thank you Sonic, I'll do my best to make you happy!" Sonic: "Uh... you're welcome... I guess." Dr Kintobor: "Hey Amy, I finally had it finished." Amy: "What?" Dr Kintobor: "Your outfit of course." said the good doctor, before he shows Amy a replica of her old dress, only it was in great condition. Amy: "Wow!, thank you Dr Kintobor!, that's so kind of you!" Tails: "Wow, I didn't know you can make clothes." Dr Kintobor: "Well of course, how did you think I got your shoes and gloves?" Knuckles: "Hey... Amy's got more clothing than us..." Dr Kintobor: "Well she was a human and she would feel more comfortable to wear something that covered her whole body... plus girls like to dress up." Amy: "True, but wait... you guys never wore anything besides your shoes and gloves?" Sonic: "Well the three of us were originally normal animals before our transformation." Amy: "Oh..." Dr Kintobor: "And here are some gloves for your hands." said the good doctor, before giving Amy her new gloves. Amy: "Wow, these are perfect... thank you... all of you." said Amy, before she went to give each Mobian and the good doctor a hug to show her gratitude.
