G.U.N. In South America

In G.U.N. Headquarters, Dr Robotnik was waiting for Topaz to show up, before the G.U.N. Agent herself came to the scene. Dr Robotnik: "What too ya so long?" Topaz: "Just trying to located the Mobian that broke the planet of course, so we could capture it... sir." Dr Robotnik: "You don't have to worry about that my dear, that's my job, just make sure to guard the Temple of Gaia located in South America, and if the Mobian shows himself there... shoot him on sight." Topaz: "Yes sir... understood." Dr Robotnik: "Good, now go and take a lot of soldiers while you're at it." Topaz: "Of course sir." said Topaz, before leaving the scene. Back on Angel island, Sonic, Tails and Chip were wrapped up in blankets, trying to warm themselves up from their trip in the North. Cream: "Here you go Mr Tails, Mr Kintobor said that the best cure for being cold is a nice bowl of hot soup." Tails: "Thanks Cream, I am pretty hungry." Amy: "And I managed to get some ice cream for you guys too, for the coolest hedgehog around." Sonic: "Uh... cool I guess..." Dr Kintobor: "Amy, that's really nice of you... but I think they're too cold to have that right now." Amy: "Huh?... oh my gosh!, I haven't realized!" Sonic: "That's okay Amy, it's the thought that counts." Sticks: "What is Ice cream?" Amy: "It's a type of desert, which is this." Sticks: "What's desert?" Amy: "Uh... it's a sweet you have after eating a big meal, like cakes, cookies, and this ice cream." Cosmo: "Is it good?" Amy: "Of course, but you'll never know unless you try." said Amy, before she gives some to Sticks and Cosmo, who were both amazed by the taste. Sticks: "Ooh... this desert really is good!" Cosmo: "So cold... and yet so good..." that was when Chris and Helen showed up to try the ice cream too. Helen: "Yummy!, you made wonderful ice cream." Amy: "Thanks... wished Sonic could have some too..." Sonic: "Don't worry Amy, once I warm up and come back, I'll be ready for it." Dr Kintobor: "That's good to hear, and you will be warmed up alright, as the next temple is located somewhere in South America." Professor Pickle: "Yes, and once this one restores the fifth Chaos emerald, only 2 left will remain."a few hours later, in South America, a Warp ring portal was opened and out came Sonic, Chip and Tails, who begin their quest to find the temple. They went through a jungle, met some animals that either friendly like the butterflies, or not friendly like the jaguars. Soon the trio made it to the temple, but Chip noticed something on the ground. Chip: "Hey Tails, what kind of animals made these tracks?" asked Chip, before Tails went over to check out the tracks. Tails: "Wait... these aren't animal tracks... these are tank tracks... and by the looks of it... these tracks are fresh... but who could..." suddenly, a group of tanks came to the scene, along with a lot of G.U.N. soldiers as well, surrounding the Mobian duo and Chip. It wasn't long before Topaz came to the scene, glaring at the trio. Topaz: "Looks like Dr Robotnik was right about them coming here... alright you three, you're under arrest for the crimes against the planet, you're coming with me." Chip: "Crime?!, wait a minute!, we didn't do anything wrong!" Topaz: "Don't play dumb, we know your crime on breaking the planet apart, now put your hands up where I can see them." Sonic: "Um... how about... no." said Sonic, before he grabs Tails and Chip and uses his speed to knock over a tank and rushed towards the entrance of the Gaia temple. Topaz: "Men!, don't let them get away!" All: "Aye ma'am!" shouted the soldiers, before following Topaz to the Temple. Back with Sonic, he and his team went into the heart of the temple, where Chips flies to the Plinth that had the base with the hole on top. Once Sonic places one of the powerless Chaos emeralds on top of the hole, a sphere of yellow Chaos energy appeared around the gem, bringing it's color and power back. Suddenly, the temple and the land began to shake, as the continent of South America and Antarctica went back into place. As for G.U.N. and Topaz, they were having a hard time trying to stay balance, before seeing Sonic and Tails and Chip, who stopped once they saw the soldiers. Topaz tries to go after them, only to fall into a trap door that had a lot of tall spikes below. But Sonic and Tails managed to catch the lady's hand just in the nick of time and pulled her out. Topaz: "Wha... why did you saved my life?" Sonic: "Well we couldn't let you fall." Tails: "Yeah, you could have gotten killed." Topaz: "True... but still... you're supposed to be the bad guys." Sonic: "Us the bad guys?, you're the ones working for Eggman." Topaz: "Who?" Tails: "He's talking about Dr Robotnik." Chip: "Yeah, he was the one who broke the planet apart in the first place!, and we're only trying to fix it." Topaz: "What?, he did that?" Sonic: "You didn't know?" Topaz: "Of course not... but how do I know you're telling the truth?" Sonic: "Well unlike Eggman, I'm not the lying type." said Sonic, before Tails used a Warp ring to open up a portal to get the heroes out of the scene before the portal closes. Once the Mobians were gone, Topaz ordered her men to leave the temple. Meanwhile, in Robotnik's lair, the mad doctor was looking at the pod that he has not seen for 50 years. Dr Robotnik: "At long last... after 50 years of searching... I finally found Shadow the Hedgehog." Cubot: "Another hedgehog?" Dr Robotnik: "Yes, a Mobian created by my grandfather for Project Shadow, which inspired my brother to create Sonic and the other Mobians... he'll be perfect to help me take down that blue rodent once and for all." Orbot: "That is if he would listen to you." Dr Robotnik: "Don't worry... he will..." said the mad doctor, before he pressed some buttons on the pod to unlock it, which allowed Shadow the Hedgehog (voiced by Jason Griffith) to finally wake up. Shadow: "Oh... my head... Maria!" Dr Robotnik: "She's gone, for many years now..." Shadow: "Professor?" Dr Robotnik: "No... I'm Ivo, one of the professor's grandchildren besides Maria." Shadow: "Ivo... it's you... why do you look so much older?... how long was I in the pod?" Dr Robotnik: "About 50 years now... and I'm sorry about Maria, she meant a lot to the both of us." Shadow: "G.U.N.... they took her away from us... and she did nothing wrong..." Dr Robotnik: "Yes... but don't worry, we'll get our revenge, and the best way to do it is from the inside." Shadow: "What do you mean?" Dr Robotnik: "Well... I managed to blackmail the man who took away Maria's life and made him hire me to work in G.U.N. so I can destroy it from the inside." Shadow: "I see... very clever of you." said Shadow, before Topaz came to the door so she can make a report to the doctor, but stopped when she hears Robotnik talking to Shadow. Dr Robotnik: "Yes, indeed it is Shadow, now that I'm G.U.N.'s top robot expert, I have control of the machinery here, and once the time comes, we shall destroy G.U.N., making them suffer like how they made us suffer 50 years ago." hearing this made Topaz gasped in shock, backing up a bit before trying to find the commander, only for Shadow to appear in front of her. Shadow: "Going somewhere miss?" Topaz: "Who are you?" Shadow: "Me?, it's Shadow the Hedgehog, and you along with the people G.U.N. are going to suffer like how they made Maria to suffer!" said Shadow, before Robotnik placed a napkin filled with Chloroform on Topaz's nose, which knocked her out cold, and the mad doctor let out an evil laugh that echoed throughout the hallway.
