The Pink Rose & The Were-Hog

It was evening on Angel island when a warp ring portal opens and out of it came Sonic, Chip, Tails and Sticks, and noticed that nobody was around at the moment. Sticks: "Whoa... what kind of sorcery was that?" Tails: "I don't know about sorcery, but it's something I made with the power of the Master emerald." Sticks: "Is it like those Chaos emeralds?" Sonic: "Kind of, but bigger and more powerful, and it's what keeps this island in the sky." Sticks: "Wait... this island's in the sky?!" Chip: "Yeah, pretty cool, huh?" Sticks: "Wow... say uh... are there animals here?" Sonic: "There sure are, many kinds, in fact you could find some you see in Africa." Sticks: "Really?, well that's good to hear." Sonic: "Yup." that was when the sun came down, and Sonic started to feel pain, before a dark aura surrounded him and transformed into his monstrous form. Sticks: "Whoa!, what just happened to him?" Tails: "Oh yeah... Sonic has a condition that turns him into that form whenever the sun comes down." Sticks: "So he's like a werewolf of a hedgehog?... a Were-hog?" Sonic: "Uh... I guess you could say that..." Chip: "Hey... maybe that could be the perfect name for it, Sonic the Were-hog." Sonic: "Um... yeah... it does ring a bell I guess..." Tails: "Hey Sticks, how do you know anything about werewolves?" Sticks: "Well... I sometimes sneak into a village where some of the people have a TV to watch some movies that involves monsters or aliens... which is how I know them." Chip: "So people like to watch movies of monsters and aliens?" Tails: "Yeah... hey isn't that Amy over there?" asked Tails, as he noticed Amy coming to the scene. When Amy sees Sonic in his Were-hog form, she screamed in fear. Sonic: "Whoa there!, no need to scream." said Sonic, before Amy swings her hammer to attack Sonic. Amy: "I don't know who you are!, but stay away monster!" shouted Amy as she continues to attack Sonic. Tails: "Amy stop!, that's Sonic!" Amy: "Huh?, Tails?, you're back... wait... did you say Sonic?... him?" Sticks: "That's what he said." said Sticks, before Amy takes a closer look at Sonic, and then gasped in shock. Amy: "Oh my gosh!, Sonic it is you!, I am so sorry!, I didn't know it was you!" Chip: "Weird... how was it you didn't knew it was Sonic... then again I guess he does look different, I mean he's big, long arms, really hairy and those fangs..." Sonic: "Yeah... go figure..." said Sonic sadly, before he walks away. Chip: "Wait a minute!, I mean you only look scary!, but you're still you!, come back!, I got chocolate!" said Chip, before Sonic leaves the scene, leaving the others behind. A few moments, the group, minus Sonic, came to the lab where Dr Kintobor and Professor Pickle were waiting for them. Dr Kintobor: "Well done boys, you managed to restore one of the Chaos emeralds and got one of the continents back into place." Professor Pickle: "Now we just need to restore the other Chaos emeralds and the planet will be complete." Tails: "That's what I was thinking." Dr Kintobor: "Hey... where's Sonic?" Chip: "Um... he's outside... feeling depressed right now..." Dr Kintobor: "Why?, what happened?" Amy: "It was all my fault..." said Amy, before she and Tails explained what happened about Sonic's Were-hog form and all that. Cream: "You called him a monster?" Amy: "I hate to admit it... but yeah... oh I feel so awful... I really messed up big time..." Tails: "It wasn't your fault, I mean there was no way you could have recognized him right away in that form." Knuckles: "I'm more puzzled about how he got that form in the first place... also... who is she?" asked Knuckles, pointing at a certain badger, who was gazing at Knuckles before gasping in shock. Sticks: "Oh no!, I'm mind controlled!, get out of my head aliens!" shouted Sticks, banging on her head repeatedly, much to the group's confusion. Knuckles: "Is she okay?" Tails: "Yeah, that's Sticks... a friend we made in Africa." said Tails, before telling the group the story of the badger's origins and all that. Dr Kintobor: "I see... so one of those beams did hit an animal... if only I knew..." Tails: "At least we found her now, and she wants to help us restore the planet." Cream: "Well it's nice to meet you Miss Sticks, my name is Cream." Sticks: "So you're the one that has put Tails under mind control." Cream: "What do you mean?" Tails: "She watched too much TV when she sneaks around a nearby village, which kinda makes her paranoid." Sticks: "I am not! (then sees her shadow) and stop following me you dark flat version of me!" Charmy: "Um... that's just your shadow." Sticks: "So you think... but I saw them turned into monsters whenever the night falls... they took over the animals and make them go crazy..." Professor Pickle: "You must be talking about the minions of Dark Gaia." Chris: "Like the ones in Station Square?" Professor Pickle: "Correct, and they're all over the planet now, but can only appear when the sun goes down." Sticks: "Hey... it's night right now... does that mean those creatures can be here too?" Professor Pickle: "We should be safe here as long as there is light." Amy: "Oh my gosh!, Sonic is still outside!" yelped Amy, before she ran off outside to find Sonic. Vector: "Amy wait!, you can't go out there alone!" Espio: "Yeah!, those creatures could attack ya!" Charmy: "We better get her." Vector: "Right." said Vector, before he and his team ran off after Amy. Chip: "I better go find Sonic too, Amy's not the only one who owes him an apology..." said Chip, before he flew off to find Amy and Sonic as fast as he could. The Chaotix found Amy, but that was when something came out of their shadows that were ready to grab them. Not too far away, Sonic was sitting on a log, feeling depressed still from what happened with Amy not too long ago, before Chip came to the scene. Sonic: "Hey Chip, what brings you here?" Chip: "I just want to apologize Sonic... I didn't mean to make you feel bad... really." Sonic: "I know... it wasn't your fault... nor was it Amy's... I can't really blame her for being scared of me... looking like this would scare the heck out of anyone..." Chip: "Maybe... but it doesn't matter what you look like, it's what's inside that really counts." Sonic: "Thanks Chip... guess the others are waiting for me huh?" Chip: "Yeah, though some are looking for Amy." Sonic: "What do you mean?" Chip: "She went out here to look for you, though I guess she hasn't found you yet." that was when they heard Amy calling for help, and went off to investigate. It wasn't long before they see the Chaotix dancing around like crazy, and Vector was dancing while Amy was being forced to dance and spin with the crocodile Mobian. Sonic: "What the heck?" Chip: "Looks like a party's going on..." Sonic: "No... something's not right here..." said Sonic, before Chip's gem glowed and more of the dark creatures the pair encountered in Station Square came out of the Chaotix, who fell and passed out while Amy fell down all worn out. Chip: "Uh oh... it's those Dark Gaia minions again!" Sonic: "So they can possess others huh?, well not if I can help it..." said Sonic, before he goes off fighting the creatures and took them all down, just in time to see the Chaotix and Amy getting up. Vector: "Oh... what just happened?" Sonic: "You guys okay?" Charmy: "Ah!, who are you?!" Espio: "Hold on... Sonic is that you?" Sonic: "Yeah." Vector: "Whoa... Tails told us about your uh... transformation at night, but I didn't think you would look like a mix between a wolf and a hedgehog..." said Vector, before Amy gets up and sees Sonic. Amy: "There you are Sonic!, I'm so so sorry about earlier... I hope you can forgive me..." Sonic: "That's okay Amy, I know you didn't mean any harm... now let's get back to the lab before more of those things show up." said Sonic, before he and the others went back to the lab and told the others about what they learned about the creatures. Professor Pickle: "Yes... the Gaia manuscripts did mentioned that Dark Gaia's minions have the ability to possess other lifeforms, both human and animal..." Charmy: "I guess Mobians too in our case..." Professor Pickle: "Yes, they can make their victims act strange or change their appearance to look more savage." Cream: "You like... Mr Sonic here?" Professor Pickle: "Yes, but luckily Sonic is still himself despite his transformation." Dr Kintobor: "Yes... but the saying can't go for the people on the planet, meaning we must restore the planet and stop Dark Gaia as soon as possible, as there's no telling what chaos those creatures could be causing on the people below." Helen: "Oh dear..." Sticks: "Then let's go and kick some butts!" Knuckles: "I'm with you on that one." Dr Kintobor: "There's too many of them, our best option is to restore the Chaos emeralds by finding the other temples." Professor Pickle: "And according to the Gaia manuscripts, the next temple should be located in China." Sonic: "Then let's go there." Tails: "Yeah... but right now I feel exhausted... can we do it tomorrow?" Dr Kintobor: "Yes, it would be wise to have some rest, otherwise noun of us will have the energy." Sonic: "Alright, but first thing in the morning, we go." Charmy: "Can we at least have breakfast first?" Sonic: "Sure." so with that, the group went to bed, in order to rest up for the next adventure.
