After Sonic and Shadow defeated Dr Robotnik, Topaz went to a computer to make a call with the President, telling him about Dr Robotnik's true goal and Jerome Wise's crime for child murder. Michael K: "Is that all true?" Topaz: "I'm afraid so... Dr Robotnik was the one who broke the planet apart in the first place and Jerome Wise killed a child just to steal the research of Project Shadow to be young forever... to think this info has been hidden for all these years..." Michael K: "I'll send some men to capture both Robotnik and Wise right away." Topaz: "Good, and tell them not to capture the Mobians... turns out they were the real heroes." Michael K: "Really?" Topaz: "Yes, they managed to save my life and put the planet back together as well." Michael K: "Very well, I'll let them know right away." said the president, before the call ended, and Topaz turns around to see Shadow. Topaz: "Well... something tells me that Maria's death will be avenged after all, but in a more peaceful way." Shadow: "Hmm... maybe... though I would have been more satisfied if I managed to bring just one hit on that creep..." Topaz: "I might let you once he's behind bars." Shadow: "... Thank you... really." that was when Dr Kintobor went over. Dr Kintobor: "Come on Shadow, it's time you meet your new family." Shadow: "Should I?, after everything I did?" Dr Kintobor: "I told ya before, it wasn't your fault, you were misguided and angry after what happened to Maria... now let me introduce you to the others." said the good doctor, before he introduce Shadow to the other Mobians and humans, who were a little nervous at first, but began to warm up to Shadow. When Helen went up to Shadow, the black hedgehog couldn't help but stare and made a silent gasp. Helen: "Is something wrong?" Shadow: "No... it's just... you look and sound a lot like Maria..." Helen: "Really?" Shadow: "I know it sounds odd... but it's true..." Dr Kintobor: "Yes, I noticed it too... she had a condition too... though it was an illness in her immune system instead of needed a wheelchair... but you both were sweet little girls who had a condition." Helen: "Wow... she sounds like someone I would have liked." Dr Kintobor: "Yeah, I think you two would have been best friends if she were around..." Chris: "Um... and me?" Dr Kintobor: "I think she would have love to have you as her friend as well, same with everyone else here." said Dr Kintobor, before looking at the Mobians. Tails: "Now let's get out of here." Chip: "We need to get back to Station Square." Amy: "Why?" Chip: "It's Dark Gaia... she's there... I can sense her Darkness..." Amy: "Really?" Cream: "Oh dear...Station Square is the place where Mr Chris and Miss Helen came from..." Topaz: "How do we get there." Shadow: "Leave that to me." said Shadow, before he and everyone else glowed and vanished. At the city of Station Square, the Mobians and human groups appeared, much to the surprise of the surrounding folks. Dr Kintobor: "I see you haven't lost your teleporting touch." Shadow: "Of course not, I am the Ultimate Life Form after all." Tails: "We could have used the Warp rings." Chip: "Yeah, but we were close to running out and Shadow deserves a chance to help out." Dr Kintobor: "That is very true." Amy: "But wait... Chip, you said Dark Gaia is here..." Chip: "Yeah, I did say that." Amy: "Then where is she?" asked Amy, before the ground started to shake, and out of the nearby sea was what looked like a giant purple cobra that looked really beautiful and scary at the same time. Charmy: "Whoa..." Espio: "My word..." Vector: "Could that be..." Cosmo: "No... it couldn't be..." Sticks: "But it is..." Chip: "It's Dark Gaia!" Cream: "Wow... she looks really scary... and yet so beautiful at the same time... I never knew that a creature could exist..." that was when Dark Gaia (voiced by Kathleen Barr) spoke up. Dark Gaia: "Well... if it isn't Light Gaia... it's been a while my love..." Chip: "Dark Gaia... please... I know you still have good in you... please stop this madness and we can be together again!" Dark Gaia: "It's a little too late for that... after thousands of years in the planet's core, I can finally get my revenge on this planet for imprisoning me!, but first... I must feed on some dark energy." said Dark Gaia, before her eyes glowed and Sonic felt pain in his body, feeling like something was clawing out of his own body. Chip: "Sonic, what's wrong!" Amy: "No!, Sonic!" suddenly, a lot of dark energy came out of Sonic, which went into Dark Gaia, while Sonic was back to his original Mobian form. Sonic: "Oh man... that was intense..." Chip: "Are you okay?" Sonic: "I'm fine... though it looks like I lost my Were-hog form..." Tails: "Look!" said Tails, as he sees that all of the Dark Gaia minions that were in the area turned into dark energy and went into Dark Gaia's body. Cream: "I don't like this..." Cheese: "Chao, Chao..." suddenly, a large knight like robot, who was really Jerome Wise inside, came to the scene and had a big group of G.U.N. soldiers waiting to attack. Jerome: "Topaz: "You're gonna pay for ratting me out to the president, now I had to use the mind control chips on my own men to make them help me destroy you and the Mobians!" Topaz: "Mind control chips?!" Dr Robotnik: "Yes, I wanted to try one on Shadow but never got the chance... but I suppose the G.U.N. soldiers will do." said the evil Doctor with an evil grin, despite wearing handcuffs. Dr Kintobor: "Kids... Professor... I think it's best you get out of here... this is about to get a little ugly..." Chris: "No way!, we're not gonna let our friends fight Dark Gaia and G.U.N. alone!" Helen: "That goes double for me." Dr Kintobor: "Well... in that case... take these." said the good doctor, before giving Chris some robot gloves, while pressing a button on Helen's wheelchair, causing it to have wings and shoots lasers. Chris: "Whoa!, what happened to the wheelchair?!" Dr Kintobor: "I might have given it some upgrades in case she needs to defend herself, and these robot gloves will cover you in robotic armor once you pressed the button on the right glove." said the good doctor, before he pressed the button, and soon Chris was dressed up like a robot. Helen: "Wow Chris, you look like a robot now." Chris: "Yeah, I really do." Dr Kintobor: "I call it the Ermal robot armor, but please remember that it's not a toy." Chris: "Yes sir." Professor Pickle: "Well... I know I'm too old for the final battle, but that won't stop me from cheering for Sonic and you all." Amy: "Thanks, and don't worry, I know for a fact that Sonic won't let the world end like this..." Shadow: "Leave Wise to me... this is a personal matter after all." said Shadow, glaring at the man in robot knight armor. Sonic: "Alright... let's do this!" said Sonic, before the Chaos emeralds appeared around him, turning him into Super Sonic, while Chip glows and a big white orb of white appeared around him, and the pair went to fight Dark Gaia, while the rest went to fight the G.U.N. soldiers, and Shadow fighting Jerome Wise. The battle was intense for Sonic and his friends, as Dark Gaia proved to be quite the challenge, while Jerome Wise's armor was tough to break for Shadow, but noun of the Mobians were ready to give up anytime, and the same goes for their human allies. During the battle, Scarlet Garcia was making a report. Scarlet: "This is Scarlet Garcia reporting to you live that a battle is taking place in Station Square, between some odd looking animals and G.U.N., who are under mind controlled by the former commander who just went rogue, but that's not all, there is a battle between what looks like a glowing hedgehog and a giant purple cobra that's the size of a skyscraper, who will be the victor, we'll just have to wait and see..." said the lady reporter, as she continues to watch the fight. Tails and Cream teamed up to knock down the soldiers without harming them, before removing the mind control chips from the back of their necks, freeing them in the process. Tails: "Nice work Cream, you using Cheese as a ball to knock down the soldiers was perfect for me to have enough time to remove the chips." Cream: "Thanks Tails, you were awesome too." Cheese: "Chao, Chao." back with the Chaotic, Vector was knocking down some soldiers with his fists, while Espio turns invisible to knock the soldiers without seeing him, and Charmy uses his stinger to make the soldiers too distracted to the pain on their bottoms to notice the Mobian bee removing the chips. Amy, Cosmo and Sticks teamed up to knocked down some of the other soldiers with a hammer, a boomerang or some vines that the plant girl controlled, allowing the girls to remove the chips. As for Knuckles, he was making sure not to hit the soldiers so they wouldn't get badly hurt while removing the chips from their necks, while Chris and Helen were able to take on the soldiers and remove the chips from their necks as well. As for Shadow, he was still fighting Jerome, until he pulls off one more Spin Dash that managed to damage the armor enough to break down, defeating Jerome at last. Jerome: "No!, it can't end like this!, my entire life ruined by a stupid Mobian!" Shadow: "Hey... you ruined my life first, so consider us even." Jerome: "Don't tell me you held a grudge all this time, that was like 50 years ago!" Shadow: "I was frozen inside the escape pod that whole time, for me that terrible day was just like yesterday... you might have put it behind you... but I will never forget... now then... this is for the Professor and Maria!" said Shadow, before he throws a punch into the face of the former G.U.N. commander, who was knocked out cold by it. As for Sonic and Chip, they were still fighting Dark Gaia, who was starting to tire, but not ready to be defeated just yet. Dark Gaia: "I must admit... you two are giving quite the challenge... but it ends here and now... then after that, I shall bring darkness and destruction to this planet." Chip: "That's not gonna happen!, we won't let you... please dear... don't do this..." Super Sonic: "You really love her... don't ya?" Chip: "Of course... I always remembered the good times we had before the transformation..." Super Sonic: "Then hold my hand keep thinking of them..." said Super Sonic, before he and Chip hold hands, and the positive thoughts went into the Chaos emeralds, and a large powerful beam, mixed from the Chaos emeralds and Chip's light powers, fired from the pair and hits Dark Gaia, who let out a painful scream before vanishing. Once Super Sonic, who turned back into normal Mobian Sonic, and Chip came down to the ground, they see Dark Gaia, who has shrunk to the size of a human, came out of the water and looked tired and confused. Dark Gaia: "What happened... Light?" Chip: "Dark?... are you... um... you again?" Dark Gaia: "I... think so... what happened?, the darkness in my heart... the darkness that was controlling me... it's gone..." Chip: "Really?" Dark Gaia: "Yes... but how?" Sonic: "Your mate's happy thoughts of you and him together long ago showed you the way out of the darkness, bringing you back to the light." Dark Gaia: "Thank you my dear..." Chip: "Well I couldn't have done it without Sonic, he's the real hero, want some chocolate?" Dark Gaia: "Um... sure my dear." said Dark Gaia, before she takes a bite on the piece of chocolate that her mate offered her. Professor Pickle: "Incredible... Dark Gaia has returned the light of good, it's like a miracle..." Amy: "See, I told ya that Sonic could do it." That was when the sound of people clapping and cheering were heard, and Sonic and the others turned around to see the people applauding the group for their heroic deed. Scarlet: "There you have it folks, it would seem that the danger is over, as the monster was defeated and turned good, while the mind controlled G.U.N. soldiers were freed from the help of these mysterious creatures, tell us your names." Sticks: "Uh... I'm Sticks the Badger." Cosmo: "My name is Cosmo the Seedrian." Vector: "Name's Vector the Crocodile." Espio: "I'm Espio the Chameleon." Charmy: "I'm Charmy the Bee!" Chris: "I'm Chris Thorndyke." Helen: "Hello, I'm Helen." Cream: "My name is Cream the Rabbit, and this is Cheese, my Chao friend." Cheese: "Chao, Chao." Amy: "Name's Amy Rose." Knuckles: "I am known as Knuckles the Echidna." Tails: "Name's Tails." Chip: "I'm Chip, want some chocolate?" asked Chip, offering a piece of chocolate to the reporter. Sonic: "As for me... my name is Sonic the Hedgehog." Scarlet: "There you have it folks, thanks to the heroics of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, Station Square and perhaps the world is safe again." said Scarlet, before the people of the city cheered even louder for their heroes.
