Sonic In The Big Apple

After their trip in China, Sonic and his group introduced Cosmo to the rest of the team, including the humans. Dr Kintobor: "Amazing... I never imagined that the Chaos emeralds could effect plants as well as animals... then again, there's still a lot of mysteries around them..." Helen: "Not only that, she's really beautiful too." Cosmo: "Oh stop, you're making me blush... you know, you're the first humans I encountered that weren't scared of me..." Chris: "Well when you're friends with mutants like the Mobians, and hanging out on an island that floats in the sky, not a lot of things can surprise ya." Cosmo: "Hmm... that's a good point... wait... this island is in the sky?!" Knuckles: "Yes, the work of the Master emerald, which is much more powerful than the Chaos emeralds, in fact it can turn thoughts into reality." Cosmo: "My goodness... that is powerful..." Knuckles: "You don't know the half of it..." Cream: "So you used to be a rose, Miss Cosmo?, is that why you look so plant like." Cosmo: "Yes, and I have the ability to talk to plants, not to mention help them grow rapidly and control them." Amy: "Wow, with your ability to talk to plants while Sticks able to talk to animals, we can have more allies in many forms." Cosmo: "Sticks can talk to animals?" Sticks: "You betcha." Charmy: "If you ask me, Cosmo's ability is much cooler." Vector: "Are you only saying that cause you have a crush on Cosmo?" Charmy: "WHAT?!" gasped Charmy, while blushing madly as Cosmo giggled. Cosmo: "So you have a crush on me?" Charmy: "I uh... um... well..." Cream: "I don't blame Mr Charmy for liking Miss Cosmo, she's really pretty and really nice too." Professor Pickle: "Tell me Miss Cosmo, you wouldn't happen to have the ability to grow Cucumbers?" Cosmo: "Not sure, I never tried those before." Professor Pickle: "Well perhaps now could be a good time to find out and perhaps be able to make some cucumber sandwiches." Cosmo: "I like that." Dr Kintobor: "Um, perhaps while you're at that, Sonic, Chip and Tails go to the next temple, which according to the manuscripts, is located somewhere in New York." Chris: "Oh, the Big Apple itself?" Sonic and Tails: "Big Apple?" Dr Kintobor: "It's one of the names that some people call New York city." Chip: "Why is it called that?" Dr Kintobor: "To be honest, I don't know, but I know that there are some places worth seeing there, like the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, the pizza and more." Chip: "Ooh, that sounds fun." Sonic: "Yeah, sounds fun to me too." Tails: "Yeah." Dr Kintobor: "But remember that you must find the temple there." Chip: "Yes Doc." said Chip, before Tails opens a portal by a Warp ring and the trio went through and arrived in New York. When Sonic sees the water, he got nervous. Sonic: "Oh man... nobody said there would be water..." Tails: "Well New York is at the edge of North America." Chip: "What's wrong with the water?" Sonic: "Um... well the thing is... I can't swim..." Chip: "Oh... I guess that would be a good reason of being scared of the water..." Sonic: "I wouldn't say I'm scared of the water... I just want to avoid it." Tails: "Hey guys, look over there." said Tails, looking at the Statue of Liberty. Chip: "Wow... that's a really pretty statue..." Tails: "Yeah, it's one of the monuments of the world..." Sonic: "Yeah, but we better get moving and find the temple." said Sonic, before he and the others went off into the city. The trio were of course traveling through the sewers as they don't want to attract unwanted attention from the people above. Tails: "Oh man... the smell down here is awful..." Sonic: "Watch what you say down here... the turtles could hear ya." Chip: "Turtles?" Sonic: "Yeah, I heard rumors of mutant turtles living down here." Chip: "Mobians like you and Tails?" Sonic: "No... different kind of mutant." Tails: "Uh Sonic... this is a Sonic story... not a TMNT story." Sonic: "Oh right." Chip: "Huh?" Sonic: "Nothing for you to worry about, come on, we got a temple to find." said Sonic, before he and the others continue the search. Suddenly, a large group of robots appeared, and Dr Robotnik himself came to the scene. Dr Robotnik: "Well... if it isn't my favorite hedgehog... come to give me trouble again?" Sonic: "Eggman!" Chip: "Why are you here?!" Dr Robotnik: "Isn't it obvious?, I'm taking over the temple of Gaia here, so that you don't foil up my plan for world domination this time." Tails: "As if we would let you do that." Dr Robotnik: "Then try and stop me fox, robots, attack!" ordered Robotnik, as his robots went to attack the group, but the Mobians and Chip were ready and took down the robots. But Robotnik wasn't done just yet, for he was now inside a large robot that can control from the inside and went to attack the group. Sonic went to use some Spin Dashes to smash the robot, while Tails went to the back of the robot and tried to rewire the system so it would shut down, which worked and the robot fell to the ground. Chip: "Looks like that robot's history." Dr Robotnik: "Dang it!, but no matter, there are still four other temples to take control of, and I will be the victor!" shouted Robotnik, before he makes a run for it and jumps into his hovercraft to fly away from the scene. After the battle, the Mobians and Chip found a hole in the sewer walls, created by Robotnik and his robots earlier, which had a secret tunnel inside, and once they traveled through, they found the temple and went inside. They went into the heart of the temple and Chip got to the Plinth with a base that had a hole on top. Sonic places one of the Chaos emeralds into the hole and once that happened, a sphere of dark blue energy appeared around the gem, which gave it's color and power back. Suddenly, everything began to shake as the continent slowly went down, back to it original position where it belongs. Chip: "Alright, three emeralds down, four more to go, right?" Sonic: "You got it, now let's get back to the island and tell them the good news." Tails: "Oh before we do that... you got some money?" Sonic: "Yeah, Doc gave us some in case we need to buy something, but why?" Tails: "Well I thought we should get some food for the gang, to get a taste of this city's food here." Sonic: "Good idea Tails, any food in mind?" Tails: "Well..." said Tails, before the scene changed to show the lab of Angel island, where everyone was enjoying Pizza of New York city. Chris: "Wow, I keep forgetting how yummy the pizza of New York is..." Helen: "Yeah, thanks you guys." Sonic: "It was nothing, of course it was Tails who got the idea." Cream: "Then thank you Mr Tails, the pizza is really good." said Cream, before she went to hug Tails, which made him blush a little. Knuckles: "Something's bugging me though... how did you managed to buy this pizza without freaking the people out?" Sonic: "We put on a coat disguise, I was on the bottom, Tails was in the middle, and Chip was on top." Chip: "Yeah, though it was hard to move around right." Tails: "Well we couldn't see a thing through the coat, and having someone on top of ya doesn't help." Dr Kintobor: "All that matters is that you're safe and managed to get the third Chaos Emerald restored." Amy: "That's Sonic for ya." Cosmo: "Hey Chip, any luck getting your memory back yet?" Chip: "I'm afraid not, but I'm sure I'll get it back soon." Sticks: "But what will you do once you get it back?" Chip: "Not sure, but maybe I'll figure that out later after my memory comes back." Sonic: "Yeah, and in the meantime, you can stick with us." Chip: "Yeah." said Chip, as he enjoys his slice of pizza.
